This is heartbreaking. But I don't see any way of deleting attachments at my end to free up space.

It appears to be based on the local time of the viewer, rather than the time in Scotland. 

So, for example, if it's 3 hours until kickoff and I view the site in ET timezone (GMT-5), it shows 8 hours until kickoff.

It remains in the thread for eternity too (or until you clear cookies or whatever!), so anytime you reply in that thread, the quote appears until you post something. Doesn't happen on PC, when you can select the widget and delete.
