First win over United since Ambrose's late winner early in the Thelin era? Thought Gyamfi, Aremu, Geiger, Armstrong and Nisbet all had good games in the first half. Nisbet actually was playing off the left at times which was interesting, United didn't know who should be marking who and we were moving their defence about. Think all of them were a shadow of themselves in the second half though, and it took Shinnie and Frame coming on in particular to turn the tide back our way. If Olusanya can learn to finish he could be our next Shayden Morris. Can't fault his desire and willingness to run at defences. Chuffed he got a goal. Gyamfi and Frame offer a nice dilemma as to who should be playing. Gyamfi can't last 90 minutes just now though, but his physicality was a big attribute today, but Frame is a menace and is good at finding space. There were (some) good times and (many) bad times under Milne's stewardship. A fair point. I guess Olusanya is proven chaos, whereas those two are unproven chaos! Olusanya has the physique (height, basically) that Keskinen lacks against big centre halves, and Bilalovic seems to be quite weak and lacks the diligence to even do the forward role. Bilalovic looks like the type that has the potential to be good, but will probably never fulfil it. Unless he has an amazing preseason, I'd like to see him go somewhere in Scotland on loan for six months to sharpen him up and get him putting the work in. What's most frustrating about the Olusanya situation is that he, and none of the other options, are actually as good as Esther Sokler. With a bit of work, he could have been a great asset when playing two up front.

Lot's of people getting bent out of shape over the Miovski story. He went to Girona and wasn't getting a game so wanted a move. Reality is that nobody else was willing to pay for him and his wage demands apart from the Huns. They're probably paying in installments anyway and will inevitably go bust before they have made the final payment. Ok so he can't play against them if he's on loan but as much as it pains me, we're not competing with that lot at the moment anyway. We're struggling to get into the top half so if signing Bojan gets us out of that hole till we can afford better then so be it. I'm sure if we did take him and he started scoring goals he'd quickly be forgiven. Chances are he could sign for Hearts or Hibs on loan and do very well and we'd all look a bit stupid for foaming at the mouth about it. He used them to get out of Spain and play football. We can use him to get better and it could be win win

Is there a drop off on quality though?Or is it people just being snobbish, because the three stripes/ Adidas logo aren't on it for the Liam Gallagher wannabes amongst our support. Id like to see Topi get a shot at playing in a different team that potentially suited his skills. As has been said he was driven into the ground that first season and then asked to play in various unfamiliar roles in a team lacking in any confidence. He really hasn’t had a chance. There have been games where he showed some real ability so Im not fully convinced he should be junked just yet. There is a danger that in scrapping the whole lot of them, we disrupt the squad significantly, replacing good footballers with mid-table Prem journeymen just because we crave stability. Someone, somewhere on the pitch is gonna need to be a baller.

We should move heaven and earth to get back into the EU. We will go back with a significantly poorer deal than we had but that’s the price paid for stupidity. The only realistic way we get out of this Reform spiral and the misery of where the UK is headed is by driving economic growth and bringing some much needed wealth back into both the public purse and into the pockets of those at the poorer end of society. The EU is our biggest market opportunity, we’ve lost tens of billions by leaving it. On top of that, the rise of Trump has changed the landscape immeasurably in Europe and the need to form stronger ties with them has never been greater in recent times.

Kevin Nisbet has scored in every game he's ever played at Dens Park. This includes when he played for Dunfermline. He never played there for Hibs (though did score v Dundee at Easter Road). Whether he scores or not is the real story in Scottish football this week.

There was a valid question asked after Thelin was bagged and Leven got nothing out of this shower for weeks as to whether we’d have been better just sticking with the Swede. Fair question then, not now. Robinson’s got way more out of this lot than Thelin or Leven ever did. He’s got them setup much better, they seem to know what they are doing, and the giving away of stupid set piece goals has slowed considerably - I must say Morrison is growing on me, had a good game yesterday. We’ll never know for sure, but I think we’d have gone down with Leven remaining in place. He got absolutely no response from them at all. I think its very likely we’d have gone down with Thelin still in place as he was far too stubborn, his style of play was completely wrong for this league, his defence was an absolute joke, and frankly I don’t think the players knew what they were supposed to be doing most of the time. Robinson’s come in and achieved his one clear target for this year - and lets be honest, after that game in Paisley that looked pretty unlikely too. Can’t ask any more than that. He’s growing on me too, be interesting to see where he can take us from here…

Signing Olusanya is only a good idea if someone else in the league is signing Rubi. He has not managed goals in the MLS, League 1 in England and our league this season. Signing him is no different to signing Lazetic and Yengi last season. I was not in favour of Robinson’s appointment and nothing I am seeing is changing that view so far. I really hope summer will prove me wrong and we won’t just try to recreate his St Mirren team in style and possibly personnel however, I suspect I will be deeply regretting my decision to renew my season ticket.

The beauty of it is the fact that Jambo fans thought he was on a 3 year deal. Delicious. I’d take Miovski back in a heartbeat without shame (not a loan!). If this season has taught me anything about myself it’s that I have zero principles when it comes to football.

Didn't watch it,only know the score. Not surprised we got beat. Thankfully, I can put football to one side until July/August. What a shit season it has been.

That said, if it meant Hearts miss out on a sizeable CL or Europa League windfall then I could be persuaded.

We've aimed for better before and ended up with Sokler, Yengi, Ambrose, JET and all sorts. Olusanya isn't the greatest footballer in the world but we know what we'll get from him and he's undeniably effective. As long as we get another striker in to backup Nisbet - or Bavidge gets a chance, which seems overly-hopeful - then Olusanya is an absolute no brainer of a signing.

I’m trying to put a positive spin on it. There is no way all those voted in yesterday will actually want to do the work & theres no way the company could’ve properly vetted all those standing. All those racist Facebook mums and former Combat 18 members will not want to fix potholes. Hanging out of Trumps arse might be a poor look in the not too distant future as well.

Keskinen could be far more effective at what Olusanya does if given enough of a chance. Especially if we're playing a 352 with no wingers, might as well use him there and leave whatever striker budget we have for someone who can challenge Nisbit for the number 9 role. Bilalovic also had a small handful of good games in the 2nd striker role earlier in the season and got a couple of goals out of it. Obviously the consistency was not there given his age and the level he'd been playing at, but another who's likely not to get a chance of playing on the wing every week that can be re-purposed.
