Can we stop with the personal attacks before this even goes anywhere? I thought we got rid of that a few weeks ago. I really appreciate the chat and banter here, and certainly appreciate differences of opinions. I talk shite much of the time, and I acknowledge that! I much preferred the old system which was home and away ties, winner takes all, with no seedings. Groups diluted the competitive element, and this dilutes it further. Everyone needs to be guaranteed the income to pay their OTT player salaries is the reality.2 points

The whole thing is a loser's charter. Lose in one, you drop into the other. Celtic should be out of Europe having lost to Ferencvaros. But no, you get rewarded for losing these days. What a fix. Total crap and not in the spirit of cup football at all.1 point

County are not up to much this year, if we play an attacking line up we should win with a bit to spare. I'd like to see us sign a defender as soon as possible. Hoban can't play every game apparently, and we have no decent back up.1 point

Gavin Masterton loaned them something like £10m. It would have taken them 100 years of trading to pay it back. Also loaned the huns an astonishing sum of nearer £100m. Rickie Byrne Gary Dempsey Craig Brewster Stevie Crawford Was Scott Thom(p)son not with them at that time too and of course managed by Mr James Calderwood. Hard to think they were paying more in wages than us at the time, worked out well for them in the long run though...1 point
