It just proves it’s corrupt. No opportunity was missed because no opportunity was available. What we are witnessing and taking part in is a complete sham. Has been for almost all of my lifetime. Cheating and liquidation didn’t stop it. Nothing can. This is not worth taking part in.

The complicit media, for me, is the most disgusting thing. We’ve known for decades that the folk involved in those clubs and the governance of the game in Scotland are more corrupt than anything else in World football. Everyone knows Rangers went into admin and were eventually liquidated, everyone knows the assets were sold. Everyone knows the league membership was transferred to a new club. The media reported it accurately at the time. Now it’s same club myth at every opportunity. Quite happy to acknowledge they are a new club established to replace the liquidated one and to that end are some form of continuation. I can also acknowledge their first title. Only took about £150 million in loans converted to equity to achieve it. Which further highlights the corruption. First thing the SPFL should have implemented is FFP, but knew the new huns would need that advantage. I assume their hope was they’d win a cup from the lower divisions. Have to agree with you, totally scunnered with Scottish fitba. Back to how I felt at end of 00’s early 10’s, it’ll become a secondary consideration again. Scottish football will be back in the doldrums, there will be a significant drop in crowds when fans at eventually allowed back. I’ll probably move back home in the next 10 years but it’ll likely be Highland League where I spend money when I do. The cessation of the huns existence was a HUGE missed opportunity in the governance of the game.

I would doubt that there is any mutual agreement in place, it'd be very unusual. It'll cost us, significantly, and that's a big part of why Cormack will be holding out. Quite rightly so. He'll take into account the effect on season ticket sales and act when the time is right. With Hibs making more of a cunt of it than us yesterday, third isn't strictly done yet, so he'll likely allow McInnes to fail as per the club's strategy, which might give them more leeway in any sacking (probably not). I think it's fairly important to allow that for the sake of the next appointment too, you really don't need any: "if we'd just given him a bit more time" opportunities (especially when McGhee returns for his glorious second spell). I'm assuming it'd be gardening leave for McInnes and Docherty, so we continue to pay them until they get work elsewhere, at which point we'll pay the difference between their current and new salaries for the season. I've heard varying degrees of speculation on McInnes' salary, but I don't believe them. I'm guessing, all in, we'd be looking at £300-500k for the pair of them. A couple of very good players, like Ojo and Forrester.

This for me as well - I'm watching this game today which was absolutely torture, willing them to make a pass that really meant something and thinking I'm not invested in these players, it may be a covid thing I suppose and you really don't know how they are all doing mental health wise but McGinn & Hayes both look done in, Kamberi has nice touches but actually no understanding with his team mates so they come to nothing. Then you are hoping that the youngsters will come on for the last half hour but no we get McLennan & Kennedy who you just know are not gonna make one bit of difference!! Soul destroying stuff - we are hanging on to potential 3rd place by a thread and only cause hibees are completely pish too
