  1. Taylor arguably has been our best defender this season. But hey ho don't let the facts get in the way of an agenda

  3. I agree, Glass comes across very well. A bit like cathro did at hearts. The problem we have is that Cormack has shrewdly (sort of) picked up on the things he knows that dons fans will want to here. It's like a checklist. The "winning in Glasgow" mantra being trotted out and so on. They're largely meaningless slogans, the sort you'd associate with politics. It's good to have a strategy of course, and I like that Cormack is keen on that. I was far more interested in Glass' chat about mowbray, which was intriguing. I like him so far. He's intelligent and studious.

  4. Stephen Glass it is then. Would not have been in my top 5 choices, but I am not the person who gets to decide. Initially thought it was very underwhelming and disappointing, Cormack's puppet if you will, but having listened to both interviews ( Glass & Cormack ) and hearing words like " Mentality " and " Driven " and statements like " Trophies in the Cabinet " then there's no denying that they at the very least, talk a good game & want what we want.

  5. You must have been watching a different season to the rest of us. Our team was at its best this season after McKenna left (not because of though). One of the positive things about this season is how well our defence coped with him leaving. Our problems are blatantly further up the park than McKenna. McKenna's best attributes were his aggression and ball winning, however they were actually over and above what was required for the majority of games in the SPFL. Taylor has proven more than adequate in those areas. McKenna rarely produced any great runs forward, nor incisive passes, so those weren't missed. He's definitely the type of player that could take us a level up, but he simply wasn't a required element of a team that could finish third in the league, which is the part we've struggled with this season. McKenna would have had zero impact on our goalscoring abilities.

  6. Nae happy at all about Scott Brown. But if they can keep the mutant away from the public eye then I suppose he's the kind of person we've been needing behind the scenes. Glass? What can I say? Good luck loon, I hope you're brilliant. Overall, he's nae Lennon. If it had been Lennon I would have had to take up interior design or something as a hobby.

  7. Simply can't agree with that point Tup That's not the point in the season where our failings materialised

  8. A lot of people did have issues with the signing of Goodwillie. I know a good few who didn’t buy season tickets when he was at the club including myself.

  11. I said, let’s get behind Chairman AND manager. You have conveniently responded without mentioning that, although it appears pretty clear what you think of Cormack based on your assumptions on Glass only getting the job because he’s Cormack’s mate, or because Cormack lined him up as soon as he took over, or because in your words there was no process. You haven’t a clue about any of that. It’s just negativity and a failure on your part to give Cormack a chance. I hope that he and Glass prove you and the rest of the nay-sayers wrong.

  12. Christ boys, the guy hasn't even started and already he's being slated. I personally think it's a ballsy move bringing in someone like Brown to assist Glass knowing the blowback there's going to be. Don't get me wrong, I've hated Brown as much as the next guy but if he pulls on an Aberdeen shirt he'll have my full support. I was a supporter of McInnes although I accepted that since the end of the year the time had come to try something new. I'll support Glass 100% - if he doesn't work out then he doesn't work out but thank Christ in my opinion we didn't hire someone else like John Hughes or Tommy Wright. The standard of MLS is far better than it's given credit for and when Glass took over the Atlanta role on an interim basis they were playing in front of 50,000 people. In short, give the loon a chance. Let him try bringing through youth, different tactics and his own players. It might be a disaster, it might be an outrageous success but candidly we're here to win and sometimes that means we have to try something different... otherwise what's the point?
