  1. Thank fuck for St Johnstone and Dundee being as shite as they are as if they were even half way competent we would be looking at relegation. We are an awful side with some fucking awful players. Never looked like troubling Hearts tonight. Massive turnover of players needed in the summer.

  4. The Donalds had the guts not to speculate to accumulate. We had zero debt until Milne came on the scene. It's a question of how much you're willing to speculate. Hearts speculated significantly in the early part of the century and went bust, winning only a couple of cups in the process. Would that be the level of speculation? Operating regularly with wages more than turnover? How long for, and to what end? Would you agree that using hearts as a benchmark, we'd likely have to spend more than they did? What does speculate to accumulate even mean in the context of the current spfl? Would you be willing to accept gradual progress, or do you want it right now? You see, the problem that you have is the accumulate part of the equation. The level of speculation required to win the league is far more likely to see us going bust rather than to accumulate returns. The Huns are running at a ~£10M loss yearly and haven't yet reached the champions league - i.e. there has been no accumulation. Do you really want the Dons to carry that level of debt? I don't. But let's be honest here, you're not asking us to speculate to accumulate at all. You're asking Cormack to spend his own money, at his own risk, chasing a goal with extremely long odds very little return. Just be honest.

  5. Oooft that was a hard watch never got going at all and canny pass a ball to save ourselves!! Knew Feguson was missing that penalty, took far to long to hit it Fair play to Goodwin making the players come to our end at the finish!! Canny honestly see how we can get ourselves out of bottom 6

  7. The problem, I suspect anyway, is that you were dropped on your head an awful lot as a kid

  8. No problem with Considine being kept on as experienced squad player as long as wages are not huge and he is fully recovered from his injury.

  9. 1) You want someone like the Donalds (from Aberdeen) to buy the club 2) they mustn't be from Aberdeen 3) the club must be under fan ownership

  10. Pretty sure Brown will be back - Goodwin said he just didn't risk him v United as he wasn't fully fit, but the extra few days should be enough. Robbie Neilson actually been getting it tight from Hearts fans for months, they're not happy at all with the football they're playing (only Aberdeen that gets the unrealistic expectations thing thrown at us though).

  11. Here's hoping Montgomery is out for the rest of the season. Then never EVER borrow another player from our lords and masters.

  12. Second game of the season in the flesh for me. Again only because a certain player is (hopefully) out. Hayes and MacKenzie both back in training so hopefully one of them can replace the hopeless Montgomery. Really need to starting winning now if we are to avoid the diddy cup group stages. Not sure we will however especially with injuries and lack of form. Hearts were on a crap run until the weekend. Typical they return to form just as we play them. In pub away end pub 2-1 Ramirez with Dons goal.

  13. Sounds like we could be in with a chance as Montgomery is apparently out. I'm heading into town shortly, I'll see if I can nick a traffic cone to replace him.

  14. Every club has a bad spell from time to time. It's life as a fitba fan. We have just come off a spell where we qualified for Europe seven years in a row. Do you think Rangers fans enjoyed the third division or Man City fans liked having to be in a play off with Gillingham? If you want to see your team win 8-0 every week and cannot accept defeats just buy a Bayern Munich shirt and stop watching the Dons.
