Going to go against the grain and say would not be keen on signing Hector. Think we would be paying over the odds for a mediocre player. Also as Rico says we already have plenty right sided cover at centre back. Would rather we looked at strengthening other areas first. As for Rooney cannot fault his work ethic but St Johnstone are his level. We should be looking for better.

Always felt Hector was more suited to a def mid role 2bh. 2bh after cormacks big interview from red TV I'm expecting to see a fair few recruits we have never heard off. He was very big on talking up the expansion to our European scouting network in that interview. Signing Shaun Rooney I can get behind. Good engine, strong competitor and gets a lot of joy in this league. Big cunt too which doesn't hurt and we need a rb with Ramsey off. It does hurt he's ooc either. Right now he defo improves our squad.

I think we need to stop signing players in positions that we have shit loads of cover just because they're available. Call it the McGeouch protocol. If we get rid of Bates and Gallagher then we could get him.

The support are happy to sing about Ojo who has been pish for us but conversely don’t dare sing for Ferguson who apart from one season, has been very good for us…all because of pettiness.
