  1. When did this phrase make into football lexicon? My nephew says it (4, it's not his fault), and my sister in law was surprised I'd never heard such a term. I'm guessing it's from the sky/english fitba breeding ground. I don't want to be critical of you, but I fucking hate the term. I accept that's my irrationality, and my issue though. Edit: also, you were just repeating what was said on English fitba forums, so perfectly acceptable usage

  2. Aww mate, I know what that is like. Anytime someone uses the word season with regards to TV shows it's so irrationally irritating to me. I must confess i don't have the same feeling toward "top bins" but I wouldn't use it myself. Only did above as I saw multiple people use it to describe his play.

  3. With Ramadani and Miovski playing together recently in Hungary and now Richardson and Roberts with Notts County I've got the following running through my head. Think I'll struggle to sleep tonight!!

  4. I would take Dunne. A left sided defender is what we need and a bit of competition for places between him and Scales is healthy. Also, if he's signed before the Celtic game, it means McCrorie can play in midfield which I think is a big thing. Yes the standard of opposition hasn't been great but I would argue he's been our best player so far - three goals, effective partnership with Ramadani, getting box to box, also getting wide and putting in crosses, and generally setting the tempo. I think we will be badly missing all that at Parkhead if he goes into defence. So aye, get Dunne in. I would probably still rather we kept Bates and sent Milne out on loan rather than have him kicking his heels on the bench, but I'll be surprised if Bates isn't away soon.

  5. Willing to give Richardson a chance and don’t think he’s as poor as some say, a hard and pacy worker who does give us something. Also a young lad with plenty of time to improve…….and nowhere near as poor as gurr! we haven’t really been challenged in the four games so far. raith were the best to date and did expose us a little but I’ll judge us from Celtic onwards. We have to acknowledge we have an new back 5 including Roos, plus scales, Richardson, and Hancock are young. New team with plenty of first team inexperience, only fair to give them time. Even Stewart, captain of a new team who haven’t played together, lots of gelling, understanding of each other’s game etc., thing we owe a little patience. roos hasn’t overly impressed me to date, doesn’t look as good as a declining Lewis, but I’ll still save judgement until league games. A little surprised we haven’t seen Lewis at all so far as I think part of his poor play from last season was a result of a shitty season as a team and a loss of confidence. goodwin again saying we need 2-3 more players. Morris, Ronan, McGrath, anyone else been mentioned? Martin Boyle really at the game? Anything there??

  6. Some entertaining football in the last few games, but we will need to cut out the passing errors or we will get ripped a new one by better teams.
