  1. We used to get this under McInnes too. Substandard signings playing ahead of youth because you've signed them and either need to keep them happy or need to prove to your own ego that it was a good signing. McLennan won a penalty in his first game for Saints yesterday, showing that you can be both pish and occasionally useful. I don't think Morris has even that value yet. He's at the level of Samuels and Parker (Josh) or Monakana. Like those, I'm struggling to see any avenue open to improve him as a player. He's probably as fast and strong as he's likely to get. Either way, he's not going to benefit from game time, he needs focused training and investment on the training ground before we should be seeing him again. Duncan is entirely different, in that he needs game time to get him used to playing against powerful adults, and develop his physique, applying his already obvious abilities at a different level. You can see clearly how he can improve over time and leave us with a very good first team player.

  2. I'm raging Duncan wasn't brought on at all. He would have been far more effective than Morris.

  3. Only saw second half as chopped a branch off a tree which turned out to be the tree… Thankfully no neighbours killed . Duc’s goal was a thing of beauty. Boys already a cult hero. Haven’t had one of them for a long time. MalKKKy MacKKKAy’s tactic is clearly don’t concede, and use those bombs of long throws as additional set pieces. Sore one but bet we won’t be the only ones to lose points in Dingwall this season.

  5. No I have my reasons and don't wish to publish on here but those that know the nature of the business I operate will understand Rico. Of course Truss is going to come charging over the horizon in the next week or so presenting herself as saviour of the nation. I am out of the country so didn't see it but believe she pretty much stated that when interviewed on BBC this morning ?

  6. Either way, the window has been and gone, so we're still paying him until at least January. I don't think Miovski needs 90 minutes every week and I'd like to see Ramirez getting 20 minutes most weeks. He's good enough. The sitter he missed earlier in the season isn't any worse than some of the one's Miovski has missed. He's proved he's prolific.

  7. Last time I checked, Goodwin isn’t my wife, so if that’s the case just be open and direct about it? “He doesn’t fit into my team and as he’s on a big contract it would be best for all parties if we could find him a transfer away” The overwhelming response to that would be “aye ok, fair enough”.

  8. Perhaps his nightmare is over. Made his debut for plymouth as a 75th minute sub and scores twice. https://youtu.be/cwukp7P9bok

  9. Just in. Sore one to take at the end. Neither side was particularly great. We were probably the more likely, but can't remember more than a couple of shots on target. Easy to say now,but I was calling for Duk to be brought on earlier. We needed his energy to try and get thru County.Miovski struggled on his own.Could be a good foil for each other in future though Thought our link up play/movement up front was what let us down today, hopefully something that will come together as we go on,as long as we can stay in the mix,and keep the boo boys at bay til then

  13. The global energy market. There is zero reason for it to exist in the way it does other than ideology. The UK isn't buying global gas (or certainly very little of it). Nuclear and renewables are serving the majority of our electricity needs, but are selling at the market price. What is the purpose of any political party if there's a huge elephant in the room that nobody is allowed to question? One that it entirely made up. I'm not familiar with the California situation but the answer elsewhere in the world is not going to be electric cars (I have one). It's not going to be cars full stop. The notion that we can live in a planet where everyone has their own individual metal box to shuttle them back and forth simply - and only - due to bad city design is ludicrous. They're right to ban the sale of new petrol/diesel cars by 2035 for very obvious reasons, but I have little faith in any government anywhere providing a solution. There's no excuse for any Western country not solving the problem in that timeframe. We seem to be in an age of complete paralysis when the biggest disasters (peak fossil fuel and climate change) are staring us in the coupon. We're failing on every single metric that the planet could ever set for us and being told to play a childish game of blue versus red while it happens. I struggle to see why anyone is discussing Biden Vs Trump or Tory Vs Labour, or even independence Vs Westminster as if it's in any way relevant.

  14. Earlier this week I got the following pictures from Talk TV presenter Ian Collins on Twitter. January of this year Ian was getting some slack from folk tweeting into his afternoon show regarding said stuff he had been talking about not being interesting enough. I sent a tweet into the studio asking why he wasn't talking about my football team Aberdeen not long signing the most decorated male US college soccer star in 2021 midfielder Dante Polvara. Ian read it out and gave this great spiel given regarding where Dante was born and has continued with Polvara banter I've forwarded ever since even wishing him a happy 22nd birthday live on his show. I'd spoken with our Commercial Director Robert Wicks to enquire if there could be anything done for Mr Collins as a thank you as we'd appreciated Ian's regular engagement with Dante Polvara chat last wee while which had helped improve one's mental health massively. Put me towards Jason Hill at club shop. They got below signed jersey sent down London way. Ian's expression is all I need to know with how his surprise gift went down!!! We do have a special football club people.
