A few months ago they were talking on there about how Hearts had never been in better shape. Everything was amazing. They had a thread dedicated to discussing how to extend the stadium to 25,000, or even 30,000, due to the growth of the club since consecutive third place finishes would earn them so much coin that they would develop a gap that Aberdeen and Hibs would never be able to bridge. This is a club that have won three cups in 60 years. Every season they find the notion that Aberdeen could finish above them as laughable, despite the fact I think we've done it 10 times in the last 11 years. You'd think they'd have learned by now.

Yep, it'd be fantastic to see him move within the country rather than to England. I wouldn't grudge him any move at all obviously, but I like the idea of him going down a different path. If he gets a move to Milan, then after a few years he could maybe dream about making it into the big time at the Huns.

Aye thon Cammy Devlin is a right little shite on the park. Exactly the sort of player you love to have in your team and opposition fans never tire of booing. Agree, that him and Clarkson are different types of midfielders and on the evidence to date Clarkson is the one with skill

I do love Devlin (Phoenix version), but he’s not the same player as Clarkson, not by any stretch. Nor the same caliber. I have missed this thread

To me he looked to be a defender that was at his best when it was backs to the wall stuff Agree a parting of ways is best for all concerned but if he did stay I wouldn't be shocked if he had some sort of redemption arc. More than anything else though he will be on a big wage and we should bin on thay alone as he would never be anything more than a squad player.

This is appalling. Shinnie for me is number 6. Number 4 should be reserved for when the Taoiseach Liam Scales returns. May as well send him back to Wigan. Aye. I would love him to come back and be a player. It was a nonsense to give him the captaincy. But, as Rico says, I just don't think he has the ability. We can't be putting him up against Dybala in the Europa League.

Delighted Shinnie is back

Definitely leaning towards this as he wasn’t the donkey some folk made him out to be. Still think it would be best for both parties if we parted ways, but we need more CBs at the moment and as you said, he did the basics well. In the semi, he played well until that moment of utter madness tbf. re Vinny, I’m happy he’s back. Goodwin clearly didn’t know how to manage the club so I’m hoping we see a reinvigorated Vinny. Less sticky toffee though please.

Looks like Shinnie getting number 4 next season then. Proper midfielder number.
