Just back, a nice afternoon. Never in any doubt, although we made a shite load of errors in that first half. Some decent performances. Nisbet played well despite his horrendous miss, and it definitely worked better for him having Gueye in there. I agree with @tlg1903 though, he needs the ball facing the goal. His touch was honking on numerous occasions, but his movement was excellent. Keskinen was okay, as others have said he works hard and doesn't stop looking for it despite his poor form. Not convinced by Okkels yet, he doesn't offer enough. MacKenzie was good and the new pairing at the back looks decent (noticeably shitter when Dorrington came on). Palaversa was decent, although still a bit weak in the tackle at times and gave it away a few times. Him and Nilsen were fine together. Despite his goal, I didn't think much of Jensen. Never tried to beat his man once, very hesitant and is very lightweight. I'm not quite sure why we've spent a relative fortune on a fullback who definitely can't play on the left, and is poorer than the existing right back. Whilst he might improve with game time, I don't see him being better than Devlin. He's technically good, but just looks like he'll only ever reach the heights of average. Strange one. He'll be good backup though.
Hopefully we're onto a setup of some sort with the two up front. If we'd had McGrath on the left instead of Okkels, that'd be fairly potent. As it stands, I'd have Morris right and Keskinen left.
