  2. Oh don't worry, they're making enough of a killing charging £8 and then adding another £5 on for delivery. "Mug" is the apt word. And yes I bought one anyway.

  3. It wasn't shirts, they've all got nameplates above their own section. The tour was enjoyable, the guide was very engaging and knowledgeable and getting up close to the Cup was great.

  4. What a dilemma for Lennon - move to Aberdeen or Como

  5. I did the stadium tour yesterday and in the home dressing room each player had his own named place but there wasn't any mention of Ambrose, Rubi, Jensen R. but Vinnie's was still there. Make of that what you will.

  9. I think Duncan is safe to stay for this season. He’s a home grown player so helps our European quota, whether he is good enough to get a new deal I’m not sure but he has this season to try and prove it. The rest I agree we need to move on. A number 9 would be great but hard to find. I’m assuming a good bit of our business is going to be done late in the window now.

  10. Just be at the station at back of 8 tomorrow and that ground work won’t have been wasted.

  12. I have to say, all this chat about cups is far more exciting than discussing the abomination of a strip, or the uneventful window. Perhaps we should consider starting a cups thread.

  13. I have some cups fae M&S or John Lewis or some of those places that have certainly lasted much longer than the Dons' one without fading, I expect it's something to do with the glaze and the finishing layers (I have a couple of M&S - we got vouchers - ones that have faded too). My folks have still got cups they use nearly daily that have their favourite child's (me) name on them that have been in use over many decades, so I suspect it's just the more general enshittification that modernity continues to serve. Back in my day, our lead cups would last for centuries. A bit of asbestos for a lid, kept everything nice and warm.
