Agreed, and I think everyone here thinks devlin is a better option than Jensen. The latter is certainly a good squad player to have with his position flexibility, but especially with tobers injured and the return of a back 3, I feel there’s plenty of devlin game time ahead which we all appreciate. Both will be on the field a lot together too. i also think second factor is Armstrong. I believe he’s better than we all expected, and with devlin Armstrong Milne and shinnie is our starting 11, I do think that Scottish core gives a work ethic mentality strength and identity that we were lacking.

Caveat: I’ve had a few beers. I don’t think there is a coincidence that when (roughly speaking) Devlin was dropped as a starter last season we’ve been shit and didn’t win any league games…..to now (roughly speaking) Devlin being back in the starting 11 and we’re much better now. Clearly one player does not make a team and there are technically more gifted players in our team however, for me, Devlin is the heart of our team and we should be building the team around him. Anyway, back to the bar.

Agree with the sentiment you’re expressing and would also add Ryan Fraser. When he was breaking through he got me off my seat more regularly than anyone since Jess.
