  1. The new sporting director is keen to work with Thelin. All previous predictions that an abject defeat tonight might lead to a dismissal are now null and void. Thelin will be here until *at least* December, so we may as well back the man. Personally, I'm interested to see how the partnership gets on.

  2. Never in doubt. Top performance. Knoester MOTM. We looked out on our airses for the last 30 minutes. Fuck knows what Thelin was watching, it was almost like he didn't want to jinx it by bringing on a sub. Karlsson barely touched it in the second half, and Armstrong also looked knackered, as did Lobban. Don't need all of them off, obviously, but one or two. Actually think Yengi might have offered more than Nisbet in a game like that, but I'd probably have just gone with the two up in order to push them back. They went very direct in the second half, and we struggled. Watson a fantastic player.

  3. What the fuck is Thelin doing not bringing on subs?

  4. This wasn't about the feed, it's about logging in. Microsoft azure, whilst not being without it's flaws, is usually very solid for this sort of thing. Put it this way, I've never known it to go down in 3 years of using it every day. That's not to say it hasn't whilst I've not been working as it's a global service but I've never not been able to use it until today.

  5. I thought that about Lobban/Jensen as well initially at the time. Not so sure Rico but we'll see soon enough I guess. Loving the way Knoester and Devlin in particular are constantly encouraging Lobban. Early days I know but he doesn't look out place tonight

  6. Said to my pal, this has been Jensens best game for ages.

  8. It could be a 5-3-2, which would be what we all were asking for (okay, Rico and I, but I think we speak for the whole forum). Or Polvara or Armstrong could be in the number 10 position, which... well. Let's see.

  9. Do we know who we want? (Please don't say Robinson) Also, pretty sure Everton and Spurs have got a bit more financial clout to make light of pesky logistical inconveniences such as notice periods, compensation, and sufficiently tempting remuneration.

  10. This is good, hopefully it will settle the support a wee bit. People tend to get more agitated when they think change is possible imo.

  11. Superb article on the official site marking the passing of Bobby Wilson the last surviving member of the 1955 League Cup winning side. Well worth a read https://www.afc.co.uk/2025/10/28/in-memoriam-bobby-wilson/

  12. Great result. Sadly no Dons in the squad, which really has to be an important part of Pfannensteil's new job. Our representation in the age groups is awful for a club of our standing.

  13. Looks like he got trapped with Neil Lennon in that machine from the Fly
