  1. Aberdeen winning the Scottish Cup and Scotland qualifying for the World Cup within six months of each other, that's the dream. And yet, within those six months, both Jimmy Thelin and Steve Clarke have had more criticism than praise, and not unfairly so considering there's been more poor performances than good ones from both teams. Despite that, they've still both delivered the ultimate high. Kasper Schmeichel also deserves a lot of credit for being part of both days.

  2. Knighting is for cunts. Public holiday should be mandated for all our games.

  5. No, we will be drawn with Argentina, Morocco and Italy (if they get through). England will play Jossy's Giants, The Hurricanes and Melchester Rovers.

  6. I don't want to be stepping on anyone's toes, but I used to start all the match threads on Aberdeen Mad, and now I've got my feet firmly under the table here, I thought I would take the liberty of doing the same on DonsTalk. The Dons take on the league leaders at Pittodrie on Sunday 23rd November at 3 pm. Hearts haven't lost a league game all season, and have scored goals aplenty. Aberdeen have lost lots of games this season, and haven't scored many goals. Nevertheless, I fancy the Dons to win 1-0.

  10. If Trump had been involved in anything dodgy with Epstein, Obama or Biden would have leaked it when they were president. But they didn't.

  12. As enjoyable and memorable as Tuesday was, I don't like all this talk of Clarke being knighted or calls for a public holiday for our first match in the World Cup. We have only qualified, it's not as if we've won it (yet). The hard work has only just started.

  14. Equal with St Midden we have currently scored the least amount of goals in the league (8) Conceding goals is not really as big a problem as a lot of folks tend to be making out, as outside the ugly sister and the diets we are 4th in that department (conceded 12 till now) So it's clear the scoring is by far a bigger problem than conceding, so I will say it once again Jimmy. FFS this is not fkn rocket science, start with two up top in at least every home game (namely Nisbet and Lazetic) and build the rest of the starting 11 around them. Do that at home and for sure 100% we will win more games than we draw or lose, it's pretty fkn simple really, but yet you continue to try ramming square pegs into round holes. You just need to stop being a stubborn tw@t. Start this game with Nisbet and Lazetic up front and we will win this, starting with anything else is asking for trouble and will be 0-0 at best. do the right thing and we will win 2-0 and burst their bubble, do the wrong thing and the diets train will keep on trucking

  15. Joe's a great guy. Great father, easy to get along with, good working man, liked by his colleagues, likes teenage girls, cooking and following his favourite football team, although he doesn't get to see them often because they play 200 miles away in Glasgow.

  16. A few possibilities. The first is that there is an investigation ongoing, and so Bondi will prevent the release of much of the good stuff, or it will be hugely redacted. The second (and the one I think most likely) is that Trump is not hugely involved in things, not in a degree that would concern. Or nothing he has done is documented. I think his dislike for Epstein is genuine, and - like most men - I suspect that there's an age below which he would see a young girl like his daughter (despite his weird obsession with her). He's just your standard rapist, basically. The third is that there is some involvement, and some hint that he has been at it with teenage girls, but he correctly believes that his base will comfortably look the other way. Be prepared for a blitz of "other countries allow teenage girls to have sex", "they weren't pre-pubescent" etc. To some degree, it's fair comment, if you happily ignore the trafficking, the British Prince nonce didn't break any UK laws in terms of age after all. The age gap is obviously the disgusting part, but Trump's voters will comfortably look the other way, accuse the other side and so on, just as they did with his rapeyness. They already know who they're voting for. He'll simply deny the knowledge trafficking, and claim consent, and it's clear that if there is any sort on Trump, it dates back at least thirty years, and will be hard to confirm.
