  1. Walking home down King St. and on the opposite side of the road there was a wee girl with her parents singing "Hearts, Hearts are falling apart again" over and over - somebody has been brought up proper!

  2. Full time. That was stressful, but worth it. Also, played one, won one when I've started the match thread on here.

  3. I'm so chuffed we ended their unbeaten run and more importantly got 3 points Cannot wait to go into the office on Tuesday now haha

  4. Actually reckon some of the comments so far are on the harsh side; I thought we had some really nice play at times in the game. Maybe a bit lucky at times but we're due some of that. Far, far better than that diabolical display against Motherwell. Got Joy Division in my head, for some reason

  5. The highlights up on the big screen today, before kick off, was the Aberdeen 6 Hearts 2 game from 1992. It was a truly wonderful match and just how good was Duncan Shearer.

  6. Wanting as many Scottish players as possible in the Aberdeen team but not being as fussed about applying the same principle to the actual Scotland squad is quite the take

  7. We got very lucky in that game. Delighted with the win but we need to do far better retaining the ball. The number of times we just hooded it into their half was infuriating.

  8. So we qualify for the world cup and he suddenly wants to play for us. He can piss off.

  9. I mind when Zidane left Juve for Madrid. Juve actually improved a wee bit because they no longer had the entirely understandable "see when you get the ball, give it to zizu" mentality. Not saying that's going to happen here but I'm defo interested to see how we do without him.

  10. I can't think of a Scottish player better than Mbappe, but I wouldn't want him in the Scotland squad either. No, because that's what club football is. Players can move freely from club to club. Ibrahimovic has played for both Milan clubs. Sometimes it leaves a sour taste (like Miovski) but it's club football, it happens. If you make international football like club football, then what's the point in it? I think you said in a previous post other countries are picking players not even remotely linked to that country - that's not right. I'm not saying Scotland should use the grandparent rule, I'm saying it shouldn't be a thing at all. Should be the parent rule (because that's jus sanguinis, so there is no argument over McTominay or Dykes' nationalities). I'll accept the grandparent rule only if they have also lived in Scotland for a certain period of time (I think it's five years in rugby). Like I said, he should have been told to ram it too. (Although, granted, he is at least Scottish by parent).

  11. Just in A really shit game, but a fantastic three points and that's what today was all about. I truly hate the gorgie minks and love that it's the club from Scotlands premier City that has well and truly bust their bubble.

  12. Would love to be the ones who burst that bubble and trigger their freefall to another relegation!!!

  17. We haven't started this half Need to get on the ball and enjoy some possession. Think we are going to have to score again as think they will eventually put one of those many chances away.

  18. Braga is a cheating cunt and well suited to Hearts.

  19. Can someone tell Dickinson it is permissible to occasionally give the team in red a foul in their favour

  20. It's one player, in a position that nobody has claimed. If he's willing to be a squad player, who waits for injury to get his chance, then get him along. The dirty English prick.

  21. Just play a 3-5-2. Or a 3-1-4-2, or 3-3-2-2. Plenty of options to retain 3 central midfielders. We'll be playing a 3-4-3, with only two in midfield today.

  22. I'd go with @Panda's suggested lineup, but I'd take Knoesters out and play Knoester, plus I'd take Karlsson out and start with the front two.

  23. I’d take Barnes in our squad I reckon. Starting with the Euro 28 qualifiers. If he’s still interested with no World Cup trip then he should be welcome. Same goes for anyone else with zero caps.

  25. Ah'd cautiously welcome Harvey tae the Scotland Squad ... but would want assurances that his name was inspired by that great Scot Alex of Sensational band fame .... also would want verified photographic proof he has enjoyed eatin' haggis and at least one rowie topped wi' raspberry jam. As a prospective Dons player though .... he would absolutely need tae buy his battered fish, chips, mock chop supper etc fae a 'chipper' ... and nae a fkn 'chippie'!! Itherwise, in either case he can go shove jellied eels an a yorkshire pud up his 'sassenarse'

  26. So much for their latest Licedome messiah. From their manky Sibo board: “The c*nt still on the park, manager can f*ck off” “Sir Jim” as I recall These fucking fannies never learn
