  1. It seems pumping the Jambos isn’t for everyone.

  2. Do we need a replacement for Clarkson? Thelin doesn't want to play in a way that suits him, so it would be very frustrating (and unsurprising) if we started doing so after he goes. We need a box to box midfielder. Physical and physically fit. The guy Just isn't as good as Clarkson either.

  3. Sounds good that, going to gigs with your daughters. No chance my sons would go to a gig with me. Too big a clash of tastes. I agree with you comments about six music. We might be old, but our coin will be more than welcome, as nigh on impossible for bands to make a living from music now. A lot of youngsters don't want to pay for music and record companies would rather sell the records of their legacy acts than support new bands or singers. If I'm at a gig of a new band or a new band is supporting an established act, I always try and buy some of their merchandise to help them out.

  5. The new guy has been calling McGregor over and showing him one of those wee magnetic tactics board. Sure sign that the coach is a diddy.

  6. First game in charge for the French man and his Nancy Bhoys roundly booed off at half time Another fine example of the best fans in the world in action

  9. Going to put in for the lottery and see what happens basically. No idea what the odds will be but the stadium holds 65k and with Haiti on the US travel ban you would think the chances of a brief are reasonable. Morocco are a bit of an unknown in terms of how many they will bring but, again, given stadium size chances of a brief are hopefully reasonable.

  10. Na. Too old for our player trading. We still have Ryan Duncan anyway.

  12. Yeah I'm gonna go to one game (that's all I'll get off, because rather rudely I'm expected to work during the World Cup). Accommodation is booked with free cancellation in both Boston and Miami - actually some decent deals. Flights are a bit pricey but haven't pressed the trigger on any yet. Still deciding which game to go to.

  13. So, who's all going? I'm booked up for ten days in Boston and it's not cost me as much as I feared it would. Return flights and accomodation coming in about 2k for a ten day stay though nothing fancy accom wise. Just need to get tickets for Haiti and Morocco now

  14. Say what you like about Goodwin but at least he had it about himself to resign when it went tit's up with us. I think it's admirable that he didn't make us sack him so we had to pay him off and he will always get some goodwill from me for that.

  16. Just back home from The Skids gig. My kind of gig, finished at 9:45. Us rock n rollers. An excellent gig. Richard Jobson came across very well as a front man and gave a little history about the songs played and took the piss out of himself. The band were excellent too. No idea if the bassist was the original one, looked about the right age. Their young guitarist was very good. Stuart Adamson, as a guitarist left big shoes to fill, but the lad filled them well. Amazing how much young folk go to these gigs of bands from yesteryear. I suppose kids don't really have much music scenes to get into now. It's all very safe and sanitised for. the most part. I was too young for The Skids first time around, bar the ones in my pants, but got into all that late 70s early 80s music by having considerably older brothers and sisters who were well into music of all sorts. With Aberdeen winning too, it's been a good day.

  20. Well, that compares favourably to '98 ... Brazil 1, Norway 7,Morocco 13, Scotland 41, ..... which I only recently discovered - which kinda mitigates the idea that our '98 WC was a 'failure'. To put it in a funny sort o' perspective, if these placings are mapped onto the Scottish League, Brazil would be Prem champions, Norway best of the bottom six, Morocco Championship toppers ..... and Scotland 2nd bottom of the 2nd Div! A win and a draw next year, and a historical first progression out of the group stages is surely achievable ... but it's Scotland! ... so fuck knows

  21. Back in the game. Thanks tlg1903 for dragging the corpse of Ajja out the river. Nobody listen to what that dick Ajjadeen says, he’s a total imposter.

  22. I have a lot of hate for both the oldco and their tribute act and even more for any of our players who have taken their coin. I never in a million years thought Miovski would sign for them. He came across as getting us and thought he got our hatred towards them. When I think back to that Sunday afternoon, last August, when our support, me included, gave him a tremendous send off and hoping that our love affair would continue one day. I never imagined he would end up signing for them. Even up to the day he signed, I still thought it was a wind up. Treachery of the highest order when he signed up for them and hoping we get the rabbit toothed c*nt greeting again, when he leaves Pittodrie next month. I also don't buy into giving him a free pass because he is foreign. He knew fine well. Ash Taylor summed him up best on Twitter.... Filth!
