By the way, we have far too many players who look like each other when watching on the telly. Lazetic-Bilalovic. Jensen-Karlsson Milne-Polvara Too many times today I praised/criticised the wrong player. It's another issue Pfannenstiel needs to sort out.4 points

Aye, welcome St Mirren to the Beating Celtic in a Cup Final in 2025 club. It's very exclusive.3 points

Not for the first time, Thelin names the wrong line up, but makes the changes which turn the game. Nisbet did nothing until Lazetic came on, and then he was everywhere for the last 20 minutes. Shinnie brilliant. Bilalovic is raw, but very good. Aouchiche - get that £1.5m paid. Lovely player.3 points

Just back. Stank out Pittodrie first half. Really, really poor. Played like we had lego bricks on their feet, filled with concrete. All players deserved subbed, but I did think Jensen was the worst of a bad job lot. Cometh the second half, cometh our Captain. Too slow, legs have gone, heard it all a million times now, but no other first team players offers what he does. The difference with that team in the second half was pleasing. The ponderous display of the first half gone and the real Aberdeen stepped up and won the points. I can't comment on the penalty call, as it was a busy box, but some you win. Should have been level before our equaliser and really though it wasn't to be our day. Lovely goal from Bilalovic, after great work by the lazy, useless Nisbet. He was getting some amount of abuse from guys beside me. Hope we see more of Bilalovic. Looks far more comfortable on the ball that Milanovic has done to date. 10 points from 12, not bad going. Just hope to fuck Jimmy plays a reserve team on Thursday and has us far better prepared for Parkhead next weekend and carry on our good league form.2 points

I have a Christmas afternoon tea today so oot as usual but hoping for a good solid win to keep us closing gap on 5th. 3 nil Nisbet, Clarkson & Karlsson2 points

I feel blessed to have brought my boys up correctly and have memories of following Aberdeen with them I will take to my grave Stand Free lads Feeling a bit teary typing that2 points

Looking at who is in our European squad, happy for this to be the team. If Gyamfi isn't fit, then play Clarkson or Palaversa at LWB for shits and giggles, and play Nilsen in the middle. Or play Jensen and play Shinnie at LWB v Celtic. A shame Bilalovic isn't in the Euro squad because would have been a nice run out for him. Go enjoy yourself lads, Prague should be nice this time of year. But it's all about another Glasgow win over Celtic on Sunday.1 point

Genuinely still don't recollect ever seeing them. Maybe they were a Granite City delicacy and didn't make there way to the west of Scotland, a bit like decent butteries1 point

He was everything Jensen isn't - combative, decisive, first instinct to go forward but firstly and most importantly, confident in this ability.1 point

I think Polvara was upset with himself. He just fumed on the bench and you could see that when he came on after the end and was being ribbed about his miss in front of goal - Shinnie managed to cheer him up a bit. With Jensen, he works hard, does lots of things right, but he clearly lacks the confidence to take a man on, so if there's not an obvious forward pass he just turns back. I can see why that's frustrating for the fans, but there's no excuse for the way he's being treated. When Bilalovic came on, I had no idea who it was. I knew it wasn't Lazetic as he was already on, but that was the only reason. Shameful to not know who a player is. Naughty step for me. Thought he made quite an impact. Just need to give Kjartanson a go now too. Shitey first half, and I was nervous when those gilt-edged chances didn't go in in our strong spell second half, but we totally deserved to win in the end. Nice to see us continuing to climb the table.1 point

The crowd were in a gurny mood from the start.I cringe seeing our own playes getting booed/jeered off, even if deservedly hooked.Total twattery1 point

Dante wasn't a happy bunny when he was subbed. Didn't acknowledge any team mates on his way to the dugout. On Jensen, he looked a great prospect when he first arrived, but for the money we paid, we really should expect better. Hard working lad, but either just not happening for him or we aren't using him correctly. Didn't deserved to be cheered when it was announced Shinnie replaced him. Shitbag behaviour.1 point

He is showing he is a right dirty little bastard when he wants to be. Very pleasing. I though he was more of a 'baller' to use the modern parlance, but fairly gets stuck in and is adapting to the darker side of the Scottish game.1 point

I think that's harsh on Polvara. First half we were terrible and a reason for that was our front 3 weren't giving the midfield any options , not running in behind or providing an out ball. I want us to get him on a longer contract as he does contribute goals, energy and can play all along the midfield1 point

Excellent second half, as has been said, look forward to the day we play for 90 mins. lazetic offers so much more than nisbet. It’s not working for Kev, but at the same time, he was much better when playing with lazetic. Maybe we sign a legit CM or two that allows us to see two forwards more regularly. Shinnie cannot play for 90 mins like that but perhaps he’s our super sub for the next year or two. Def man of the match. penalty was harsh, theirs cleanly not a pen, and I suppose you can say lazetic header was on target and hit a raised arm. very cool penalty from karlsson. Don’t think any of us have really taken to him but there’s talent there, nicely finished. topi offered so little, milanovic has done nothing. Surely, like lobban to a lesser extent, bilalovic plays some part weekly now. Has pace and aggression, and the goal showed real desire. Curious to see him on the left, fuck the inverted crap.1 point

Love having a player up top like lazetic. Don’t like his diving but he’s a hard fucker who mixes it and gets stuck in. Real presence. Good win. Shit first half, excellent second. Shinnie a huge impact. Hopefully we see more of bilalovic. Wasn’t great but isn’t out of place. Great desire to get on the end of the cross.1 point

Definitely got the line up wrong today. Jensen on the right won’t give us attacking width, topi is not a wing back. Armstrong and adil should have been dropped for shinnie and possibly Clarkson. Nisbet is not a line leading 9. We needed to be fresh in midfield and take the game to them from the start. We have been the opposite. While polvara didn’t play Thursday he’s not an aggressive player and won’t dictate play or dominate.1 point

This is not a game for three at the back. We've got an extra passing option in our own half which we don't need, and it means we're short when going forward. Case in point: Jensen gets the ball wide. Fans screaming at him to pass but he's no options, so has to wait for Karlsson to come to him. He makes the pass and Karlsson then is wide with no-where to go, so he has to wait for Jensen to then overlap him. We like to double up down the sides but Killie are wise to it so crowd us out. We are constantly having to pass backwards and inevitably towards our back three.1 point

Match day and thankfully the wind has calmed down. I went out for my walk yesterday afternoon and was nearly blown over twice. Confident for the points this afternoon, but not overly so. I've been scarred enough over the years, never to be overly confident. The lad Watson being out for them, will hopefully help us, but with dracula not in their dugout, they might fancy it more. After yesterdays results, a win would help consolidate our top six position nicely and also would see us with 10 points, from our previous four games, which I would have snatched your hand off for before hand. Again, I’ll be over simplifying this and don’t pretend to know a lot about it. I’d say that the biggest risk for council is optics. The ‘funding’ of what appears to be in support of a private business when the council is strapped and not investing in public services is never going to be a good look. Even if the truth of it is that there is little risk in leveraging borrowing power to then have the club do the heavy lifting on repaying and the council get the upside of a community asset that drives wealth back into the city in some form. For this reason (optics) I’d be surprised if they pulled it off. I agree that there must be a handful of wealthy folks who can chuck in £10m each to build legacy. Cormack should really be writing the first cheque.1 point

22 years ago, Pele Paterson was in the hot seat. Did it scar you that much? You never get the urge to make the pilgrimage up to our Mecca of the north? (Nae bingo jokes please). I'm assuming you are still in Englandshire and not further afield. The reason I have never left Aberdeen, to live further afield, is our bloody club. I was asked once to move abroad and that was my reason for not going. A 100% genuine answer. I wouldn't even class myself as that big a dandy and much more committed supporters than me, but I couldn't live without my regular fix. Would be easier coming off crack. As long as the heart is in the right place, then that is what counts.1 point

I'll take any kind of win 2bh but it would be nice to get a convincing one and up the momentum a wee bit. The red tinted specs podcast had a Killie fan on and he sounded thoroughly depressed with all things KFC which bodes well. In Main 3-0 Polvara, Lazetic and Nisbet1 point

I've said it before so I'll say it again: Miovski was good for us, not great, and any love for him can only have been because of how shite the majority of the rest of our squad was rather than him being any kind of special. Compared to proper heroes he was and remains a nobody. Shinnie deserves 100 times the love and respect that Miovski got but somehow he doesn't seem to get it.1 point

I have a lot of hate for both the oldco and their tribute act and even more for any of our players who have taken their coin. I never in a million years thought Miovski would sign for them. He came across as getting us and thought he got our hatred towards them. When I think back to that Sunday afternoon, last August, when our support, me included, gave him a tremendous send off and hoping that our love affair would continue one day. I never imagined he would end up signing for them. Even up to the day he signed, I still thought it was a wind up. Treachery of the highest order when he signed up for them and hoping we get the rabbit toothed c*nt greeting again, when he leaves Pittodrie next month. I also don't buy into giving him a free pass because he is foreign. He knew fine well. Ash Taylor summed him up best on Twitter.... Filth!1 point
