Wonder if I’d feel differently if we’d advanced, but what a shit format. Not a complaint because we faced 5 of the top 8 teams, but I just find it rather uninteresting. No clue why we had to have 36 teams, if you insist on something different instead of the regular knock out rounds, why not 32 team, 8 groups of 4, play everyone home and away so you get your 6 games, but the games are now likely more meaningful. Top 2 advance to a round of 16. the format of the European tournaments are getting worse and worse. As has been said before, I certainly miss the original 3 tournaments.

I got A Hard Day's Night on DVD out of a charity shop last week for 50p. Great film. Just think, when it came out in 1964, for 50p you could get a bus to the cinema, two tickets to the film, chips and a bottle of Bon Accord ale afterwards and the bus home, and still have enough change to put a deposit down on a three bedroom house. Changed days.

It's not a league though, is it. It's a contrived bollocks set of games where different teams play others at random. It's tragic as fuck that people actually came up with it in the first place. You can't even properly slag us off for finishing bottom because we played different teams than others around us. No one watch films anymore Ten months and no posts Watched "I Swear" last night. A true story of tourettes sufferer John Davidson from Galashiels. Starting with him going to secondary school and the start of his tics, through to him receiving his MBE for his work in raising awareness of tourettes. A wonderful story where you will laugh and cry in equal measures (sometimes at the same time) and with a smattering of pretty decent music. Last word on the film, everyone needs a Dottie in their life
