I was at preseason in Holland when we signed Bossu and was there to witness Leighton shouting at Calderwood asking which of his mates recommended we sign “this clown” after a pre match work out. Calderwood then told press he was signed on Leighton’s recommendation a couple of days later.

I don't see signing Welsh as desperation at all. He's a good age, coming into his peak years, Scottish and performing well in our division. He's exactly the type of signing we should be making.

Morals of the move aside he agreed to sign for Russel Martin which was a monumentally stupid thing to do.

I definitely disagree with his last line where he says Miovski is in a good place right now. He looks miserable, isn't playing, and has had to delete his social media due to abuse from his own fans. I think if he's being honest he regrets ever making that move.

I think loan system should only ever be when we have the option to buy agreed with the parent club. If that’s not then would rather we gave game time to our own young player than develop a player for someone else.
