  2. Not a chance in hell that 1. Miovski would want to come back 2. Sevco would punt him for such a small amount, and most importantly 3. The vast majority of AFC supporters would welcome him back and I include myself in that. There is 1, only ONE team in world football that there is no coming back from and that's the team formerly known as Rangers. Any Aberdeen player moving to them, either directly from us or otherwise, deserves every bit of condemnation and abuse they receive and only a very select group will be allowed to step back into Pittodrie still regarded as legends/hero.

  5. Probably something to do with Lutz being in charge of the search, and no-one in the Scottish media knowing him well enough to get an exclusive Also, the whole "we're taking our time" thing, they appear pretty serious about that. Could be into February before we get a new boss.

  8. In order to get the ball to Nisbet, it’s vital that it starts with Mitov making a 3 yard sideways pass to a centre half on the 6 yard line. That way, he can give the ball to an under pressure full back who has to pass it back the way to the centre half. From here, the important part is to thread a pass straight up the middle to a midfielder who is either facing his own goal, or isn’t looking at all This is the way football MUST be played. Otherwise, what’s the point? The paying public need to be entertained

  9. I agree with you on Polvara. I've read a fair amount of shyte about how bad he was on Sunday and I thought he did fine enough. I also think he is getting a bit more physical, but that just isn't his game. The loon is a good technical player, maybe just not suited best to our league. Thankfully he manned up last May, when he stepped up and put away his penalty. The best thing the club could have done for him when he signed, was to ship him to Arbroath, or some other Championship team to introduce him to the realities of Scottish fitba. For me our tactics are our biggest issue and most of our players are being sent on to the pitch to fail. None more so than our strikers. I actually feel sorry for Lazetic and Nisbet.

  10. He probably was but it brought to mind a favourite saying of my late mother's "Let he without sin, cast the first stone" You may well be right about his movement on Sunday as I know I've been at games in person before and thought someone was ok during the game only to read those watching on tv panning them,

  11. I assumed he was including himself in that? I'm going to go against the grain here and say that I thought he played well in the last two games. His movement was very good on Sunday, making space for others, probably not noticeable on the telly. He's an intelligent player, who quickly gets to grips with the position he's asked to play. He's not a world beater, but slightly above average and can play in numerous positions. We need a player like that in the squad. It means that you don't have to overload the squad with shite. On the assumption that you're always going to have injuries, he's a reasonably dependable all rounder that can cover, meaning that you can offer him twenty games a season comfortably and you don't need two players in every position. It's a case of better the devil you know, and we've seen how poor the signings have been, we'll definitely sign worse.

  12. Apparently, he can't play for three teams in one season. Also, the six months quarantine required for players who leave Ibrox for Pittodrie could be a problem.

  13. Worth a go, except the bit about giving them money. I’d offer to take him off their hands for nothing.

  15. Totally agree min. In my opinion he does not offer very much at all. Another that will not cause me to lose any sleep over if he leaves

  16. Morals of the move aside he agreed to sign for Russel Martin which was a monumentally stupid thing to do.

  18. You know what I find a bit odd? Nobody seems to give a fuck about the hunger strikers. I mean, whether you agree with them or not (you fucking should, what’s wrong with you!?) these are peaceful protesters getting absolutely shafted by the government. I would’ve thought people might care a bit more about that

  19. Best thing to do is switch off from it all. Absolutely nothing any of us can do to change it. If the World ends by the 25th of May, 2026, Aberdeen will still be the Scottish Cup holders. Every situation has its upside.
