I’m sure he would have, but bin day (Thursday) was one of the days he spent at Filbert Street. Only one bin then. In fact, no bins, just the black bags that were a seagull’s buffet.2 points

Being reported as a loan deal. If there is no option to buy then should be a hard no. As I have said before fuck developing players for either of the bigots.2 points

I am currently looking at the dividing wall that would have had Peter Weir on the other side of it as he was my next door neighbour when we moved here in 1988. He was playing for Leicester City then, as TDBTD reveals. He spent 3-4 days a week in Leicester and was around here from Sunday-Tuesday generally. A good guy.2 points

We were a baw hair away from getting Scales as well. However despite all of that I still am not in favour of loan deals with them1 point

It's infuriating! No danger the club don't know this is going to get them a lot of stick and for what? Another attacking midfielder that the jury is out on what their best position is? It really is a ridiculous act of self harm for a player we don't fucking need.1 point

In fairness, we actually got McCrorie under a loan deal, so that was an excellent bit of business. This deal, however, does not have an option to buy. FUCK. THAT. Seriously AFC, doing their level best to put everyone off the club at the moment.1 point

P&J reporting we’re back in for Lyall Cameron https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/6935937/aberdeen-pursue-lyall-cameron-signing-from-rangers/ Silly loon should’ve opted for The Famous first time round.1 point

Don’t disagree that he is better than some who are remaining but I think he was just that bit short of being good enough to be first team player for our league. Not made the best of any of loans moves either as none of clubs took up options to buy. Probably best for both parties that he moves on.1 point

Wouldn't put it past them as it will cup tie him even if he was to return to Motherwell1 point

I saw Derek Rae on twitter saying that Gisdol also likes his teams to "counter-press". I'm not hugely up to date with the tactical speak these days but it sounds very much like "counter-press" involves getting the ball back quickly when the other team has it? If so, that's not going to work against the teams that like to sit in a frustrate us, we've been down that road too many times already and must know that it isn't the way we need to play.1 point

Back to Stephen Robinson, slaughtered his players tonight. Maybe we're just waiting for him to be sacked so we don't need to pay any compensation.1 point

"What’s interesting about Robert Klauss style of play is that he is a Red Bull coach through and through. The now 39-year-old began his coaching career at RB Leipzig, progressing through the ranks of their academy to their Bundesliga team, where he served as assistant coach to both Ralf Rangnick and Julian Nagelsmann during their respective tenures." That's not an awful pedigree for a 41 yo 2bf. "Red Bull, the owner of several football clubs worldwide, including RB Leipzig in Germany, Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, Red Bull Bragantino in Brazil, and New York Red Bulls in the United States, follows a unique football philosophy. The company emphasises the development of young talents and play a proactive, high-pressing, counter-pressing style of football with direct, vertical, and quick attacking play to score goals as quickly as possible." wankspeak for gegenpress in case anyone wondering what a red bull coach is.1 point

New manager at Real not getting off to a good start. Losing 3-2 to Albacete in Spanish cup. Albacete currently 17th in second division and their first ever win over Real Madrid.1 point

Online clowns lashing out at everything and anything out of frustration at how poor we've been. Chairman, captain, (ex) manager, goalie and now CEO all getting it in the neck because social media allows morons an outlet to spout the pish that in the past would only have had an audience of three men and a dog in the pub. It's one thing to criticise players and managers for their performance but when it turns to off the field figures' personal lives then it's a grim state of affairs.1 point

Our fans are the only fans, in the whole of football to sing obscene songs though. No other club does it.1 point

In order to get the ball to Nisbet, it’s vital that it starts with Mitov making a 3 yard sideways pass to a centre half on the 6 yard line. That way, he can give the ball to an under pressure full back who has to pass it back the way to the centre half. From here, the important part is to thread a pass straight up the middle to a midfielder who is either facing his own goal, or isn’t looking at all This is the way football MUST be played. Otherwise, what’s the point? The paying public need to be entertained1 point

I assumed he was including himself in that? I'm going to go against the grain here and say that I thought he played well in the last two games. His movement was very good on Sunday, making space for others, probably not noticeable on the telly. He's an intelligent player, who quickly gets to grips with the position he's asked to play. He's not a world beater, but slightly above average and can play in numerous positions. We need a player like that in the squad. It means that you don't have to overload the squad with shite. On the assumption that you're always going to have injuries, he's a reasonably dependable all rounder that can cover, meaning that you can offer him twenty games a season comfortably and you don't need two players in every position. It's a case of better the devil you know, and we've seen how poor the signings have been, we'll definitely sign worse.1 point
