Dinnae ken about Aberdeen to Norway on a jet ski BUT there was a guy took a jet ski from Irvine to the Isle Of Man (during COVID lock down) in order to get a shag from his girlfriend and ended up doing jail time3 points

The boy Matthew from the Spar was a belter. Nothing tops WYOWYN with Walter Sobchak (sp?) though. A level of prose and sentence construction that Shakespeare would have been proud of…3 points

I thought all our players were dicks Until they hit Livi for six Now they are great And them I don't hate Now I don't want to hit them with sticks3 points

This is the most inept refereeing performance in Scotland in sixty years of following football Just completely clueless3 points

We’ve been over the ground on this on the dead site, but for those of us who live too far away from Scotland to get to matches, it’s just a way of supporting the club.3 points

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but apparently, the Japanese club that wanted Yengi, were actually wanting his Brother. The brother has apparently accepted the offer. We could give Livi our Yengi to soften the blow of losing theirs.3 points

Yes, but I've had a few tonight and fucked up by starting a new one when i made a mess of the search. Trust me, Rico has already pulled me up for this There was this one and another one Manc2 points

Aye, that was entertaining today. I don't know if we responded more impressively to going behind or to the referee being an absolute mess. Starting with the ref, that's the second time I've seen him, and both times he's been the worst ref I've seen in Scottish football. He shouldn't be there. Another product of VAR of course, with half the refs watching on a telly somewhere. Onto VAR, that offside call was a fucking disgrace. It wasn't the ref's call to go to the monitor, it's not even the guys in the video room, it's the fucking rules. If you can't draw lines, it's the onfield decision, that has to be written in. They just changed the decision from a factual one to a subjective call and then used an inappropriately positioned camera to decide on it. It completely goes against everything we've been told about it, it's a fucking disgrace. The arrogance of any cunt in a video room suggesting that they know better than an official who is in line is staggering. The whole reason we got VAR in the first place was because ignorant pundit fuckers questioned offside calls from a TV a mile away, and if VAR has taught us anything it's that there are exceedingly few incorrect offside calls that are more than marginal. Terrible decision, regardless of what they think the telly showed them. Anyway, we played some great stuff today. Frame, Keskinen, Shinnie, Nisbet (probably equal with Keskinen for motm) and Armstrong all very good. We defended very well in open play, but Jesus Christ we can't defend set pieces. I don't think it's necessarily about winning headers either, it's more fundamental than that. Our organisation, following the man etc is terrible. It needs a lot of work, I don't think a change of a defender will cut it. Our goals were fantastic, the crosses from Frame and Keskinen just class. Frame worked well with Topi and played well overall. Nisbet's link up play and movement was excellent. Bilalovic tried to take on his man regularly on the other wing too, and his determination for the goal was ace to see. Armstrong seemed to have chucked it at 1-2, for about ten minutes, but then he woke up and started putting in the passes he was doing at the start of the season. The one for Nisbet's nae goal was especially class. The subs from Leven were well timed and effective. Taking Devlin off on a booking the right call, Bilalovic was knackered too. Don't think we can be risking Frame and Lobban at the same time just yet, and Jensen was good when he came on. Clarkson steadied things nicely in midfield and Olusanya is indeed rapid (although he should have gone for it in the last seconds). Great fun.2 points

Who would have thought getting the ball into the opponents box from wide positions could lead to goals2 points

One wee thing I noticed, just after the equaliser, Leven was screaming at them to stop celebrating, get back up the pitch and get another before half-time. Just a wee thing but I like that attitude. Thelin was usually fist pumping the entire bench.2 points
-
Stating the obvious but look at the difference when you have attacking width. bilalovic has to be reminded to stay wide. If we stretch the field you’ll get the same from belalovic and devlin as we saw in the left, plus you’ll see a lot more for Cameron with the space created by width.2 points

Anyone actually woken up this morning full of optimism and anticipating a free flowing footballing master class to be on show at Pittodrie this afternoon I will start out watching on Red TV, but for how long remains to be seen. It takes as long as it takes, Leven is clearly a safe pair of hands so I don't see the rush 2bh2 points

Aye, but the change isn't really for the better. We are quite possibly just legacy fans with no place in the modern game. I mean, I don't even do AberDNA and yet here I am, on here complaining about our latest signing. The cheek of it.2 points

Livvy striker has been involved in something before where an unnamed opposition player was accused of saying something that was not specified which was very rigorously denied: https://sports.yahoo.com/bokila-accuses-nac-player-racism-132800988.html?guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAG4hXqqfFjsSuj4uaTin6bA8P85zGQ5XXTYt7fBe9eiXgUNjcT1MRCUnzHKvwegX6MBuuIwPMhc8MzYgQKtLF2R9_SyPOQAMm99f7LkQ0N_2WwXGqZVNl_w2SZs8sGfVJzTAdkiWK4pQxpaf2AoGL8yWIsgol8xrhQt-7bJ1ZTKB&guccounter=2 I would hope any accusation this time is against a specific player with actual quote of what was said (doesn’t need to be publicly disclosed).1 point

You could tell by the Livi boy’s reaction that he was seriously upset by something. Hopefully thought he heard somethintg rather than actually heard it but that’s maybe blinkered, wishful thinking.1 point

Well I knew we would win, but six goals. Happy days. I went for a pie and come back and the feckers equalised, I hadn't even finished my pie when they had the temerity to go in front, bastards! There was a lot of noise around me in the south stand, an issue when you let folk in on the cheap, but what a way to respond. Bar the period when we let in two, it was everything you want from a team. I could wax lyrical about it, but it only really matters if we do the same next game, although I'd settle for five. I said on Sunday that Mitchell Frame needed to go on Loan, well thank fuck I'm not manager. Hopefully that has raised the confidence going into the business part of the season. We really needed that. Was a cold one though. .1 point

Agree to an extent to the lobban and frame comment, especially when we don’t really have a holding mid on the park who can fill in when you bomb on. Jensen’s a bit more conservative and his usual cutting back is the opposite of what we want to see, plus milanovic, those two at once killed the fun a little, and it was only 3-2 when devlin went off so I get there conservative approach. Then again, put them in and we score 3 in 30 mins! interesting week ahead on the manager and transfer front, but this result should be a real boost for the team.1 point

Don’t think Atlanta had anything to do with Polvara, think he was recommended through Bobby Clark.1 point

There was a thread started on Aberdeen-Mad back when it was busy (and useable) by a poster who pondered if it was possible to ride from Aberdeen to Norway on a jet ski. It was one of many "classic threads" on there which have been lost thanks to site upgrades. I canna mind what PS83's 'Bad Boys' were, I think they were a pair of trainers. Phoenix's 10,000th post thread was another one mentioned.1 point

Revealing my man crush but big part of topi’s play today is frame. When you have an attacking left back he gives topi space to cut inside by pulling defenders wide. Left side has been a superb today.1 point

Beating a dead horse, but we’re seeing width we haven’t see all season, and down the left where karlsson has been removed. Not getting carried away, it’s livi too, but topi and frame are a really good combo, frame wide and topi cutting in, we’ve seen them interchanging too. totally capable of seeing the same from the right and bilalovic and devlin/lobban. It just needed to be emphasized, coached, and practiced. But it’s clear it has been a point addressed. all of the above brings the best out of nisbet, suits his game, and that shape and play allows a 10 to thrive too. plenty to think about!1 point
-
First things first, we’ve been excellent going forward. Those balls in from Frame & Topi were absolute quality. Nisbet lives for that service. But AGAIN, none of that is much use until you get a defence - and centre halfs especially - THAT CAN WIN A DEFENSIVE FUCKING HEADER. Ok we’ve signed Morrison so hopefully he’s one, but we need two more cause I’m sorry but enough is enough, Milne and Knoester are in the Polvara box - completely unsuited and unable to play in Scotland. Get it fuckin sorted AFC…1 point

I'm going to defend Lutz here. Bigger clubs than us have had vacancies at the same time, and have been happy to just appoint interims until the end of the season. Man Utd (Carrick), Celtic (O'Neill - for the second time this season) are two such examples. Had we just said "Leven until the end of the season", would we have been happy? It's coming up to three weeks, which isn't that long. As long as he appoints him within the next week, and the boy wins at least two trophies - at least one of which needs to be a European trophy - then I'd say the wait was worth it.1 point

To be fair to McGlynn I think he is being unfairly stereotyped based on his age (and probably appearance). As can be seen from his LinkedIn page, he's fluent in Cormackese which suggests he'd be handy firing out tactical analysis slide decks on a laptop: https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-mcglynn-3a53586b/?originalSubdomain=uk • Talent focused – Identify early, mentor, develop, perform and maximize value • Organised and structured with a results focused attitude1 point

Really looking forward to this one...... but not because of the game. Got a new car last week and driving the a96 from Inverness is going to be loads more fun now than it was with the 1.2ltr 17yo polo I've been getting through with all season. Could take or leave the game 2bh but I may as well go I know Livi's results have been shit but from what I've seen their performances have been competive and they have defo been shafted by VAR a few times. I expect a tough game but I do wonder if Karlsson going is going to be good for morale as he must have been frustrating to play with. 3-1 dons, nisbet hatrick1 point

They wouldn't get more tickets anyway as we're unable to do so. Sure Rangers should have been entitled to 20% in the cup a few years ago, and Aberdeen explained they couldn't do it. I was suggesting cutting their tickets from the usual 1,600 they get now, because the 600 allocation we get down there is dreadful.1 point
