I can see why someone thought he might do a job in the SPFL. A guy whose confidence had been obliterated before he ever set foot on the pitch. I'd like to have seen a loan in this country to see if he could get some sort of confidence built. If we just ignore his messages and calls, then he might stay in Japan.

Derek Rae reckons he can play a wee bit as well and whilst I can understand why people are making Rama comparisons from what I can gather he seems more of a Bisconti type. And wouldn't that be nice, Bisco was a hell of a player.

The big question mark over McGlynn is how he'd fit into the sporting director structure we've got now. Strikes me as the kind of old school manager who thrives when wheeling, dealing and bringing in players he finds. That's not how we're supposed to be working.
