I am all for change if that change is for the better. Have now seen more than enough of Bratveit to see is most certainly not an upgrade on Mitov. Hopefully Mitov back in between the sticks from Wednesday at tannadump and for the rest of the season. Nisbet MOTM easily yesterday and is most probably one of the most hard working players we have. He certainly and clearly gives a fuk and tries his best every single week which is not a lot to ask. Sadly we cannot say the same about many of that fukin charlatans that were prancing around the pitch yesterday. Got what we deserved once again3 points

We deserved a draw yesterday BUS and we showed good character by getting the equaliser and playing well in the second half, despite going down to 10 and going behind in the first half. They scored a pearler of a goal to win it at the right time, which knocked the stuffing out of us.2 points

We’re all frustrated by the team, mistakes, the manager situation etc. another season getting away from us. The red cards adding up just highlights and adds to the frustration/desperation with us all. Started with so much expectation, a ex PSG player, karlsson, a highly rated Icelandic youngster, Australian player of the year etc., even an aging Armstrong. Don’t have great confidence in the cup game either. sad to write off a season but getting close to that. while Dave’s release today said little, it’s as much an acknowledgement that we’re all frustrated at present.2 points

Sorry man, disagree, good update. Good managers are hard to find and we need to get this right, which in itself requires luck and timing. Saying something but nothing in a way, but least it’s an update. All he can say, and better than silence, you. Can’t say more when things aren’t set. dont disagree too, starting with us midseason is bit of a shit show. Starting in the summer, build a squad, a preseason is the ideal for a coach. If it’s horneland for example, can work with us on recruitment prior to formally being hired, but has a voice in squad building. Realistically, we are not in a good spot right now and hard for a manager to start right now and go forwards immediately. Shit situation, but is what it is. .2 points

But what are the options? You have a two new signings in center mid, the only other options are sivert and palaversa, no?? I don’t think that’s the penguin picking the team, that’s simply picking who you have available. Perhaps sivert should have started over afeez yesterday, but there’s not many options at present.2 points

You have a point about 4 red in 5 games, both in playing with less than 11, and suspensions limiting selection, but also add the injuries to kneuster and Armstrong, and an off form keeper, all guys who have played significant minutes. plus losing aouchiche karlsson polvara and Clarkson, suddenly were quite limited in selection, especially in central midfield. Throw in the fact that afeez and Geiger are from another league/country who aren’t match fit and haven’t played in quite a while, and the disruption of the weather. He’s been given quite an assignment. in the past, leven has come in to a difficult situation, but this is significantly harder due to the above. I don’t think he’s good enough, but he’s certainly been given quite the challenge.2 points

Well, I for one hope that Hearts can "do a Leicester". By winning the league, then getting relegated to the third tier ten years later.1 point

There isn’t a shake up. Long term, it’ll be worse for Hearts winning it. Nothing will ever change because they’ll just point to the one year hearts fluked it Their fans are every bit as bad as the smellies too. At least if one of them win it, they’ll forget all about it the day after1 point

It’s Horneland they want and the “unforeseen” circumstances have arisen since the Lutz “imminent” statement 10 odd days ago. Kind of what “unforeseen” means like. Its a update statement, its not particularly enlightening, beyond clarifying (for me anyway) the points in my first paragraph above. Just gotta hope our recruitment - on and off the pitch - gets 100% better starting right now…1 point

Looked like one to me but don’t think they showed an angle that showed it was a clear and obvious error by ref. Hibs winning 2-1 at Parkhead for 1st time in 16 years but giving Hearts an advantage in league chase.1 point

If Horneland, surely the unforeseen circumstances would have been in play, when the announcement was supposedly imminent 10 days ago.1 point

I was trying to be witty, dry even like a black pudding left on the warming plate of a chipper from dennertime closing until suppertime opening. Failed miserably as usual. Chippy is teuchter talk. He's obviously not from these parts.1 point

I stated pregame and agree, sivert should have started over afeez. But sivert is very limited too and we need mobility in there. So while afeez lacks fitness, sivert lacks mobility and he’s caught out a lot. I don’t think that means someone else is picking the team, the team almost pics itself. devlin worries me a little, time we see lobban again?1 point

https://www.afc.co.uk/2026/02/22/chairmans-update-new-head-coach/ Update from Dave Cormack. Basically saying Knutsen wants to win the Champions League with Bodo/Glimt before taking the job in summer. At least I think that's what he says. I should probably read it again.1 point

Interesting that Interim Pete is quoted as wanting a word with McLean about our disallowed goal. He recalls, as do I, Motherwell equalising against us from a corner earlier this season without any signal having been given by the WITB, whilst our defence chatted about which club they’d go to in the evening, and whether to have a black pudden supper, or its mock chop equivalent from the Dolphin chipper later on. Sort it oot, you reffy pricks.1 point

I don't hear the baldy Motherwell manager complaining about that being a harsh red card. Utterly ridiculous sending off,1 point

A pitch made for flipper feet Devlin. He spends most of a game on his arse anyway.1 point

Thought we were unlucky to lose today. Better team until we scored then seemed to take foot of gas and let them into game. Thought it was a penalty at the game but still to see it back on tv. Never a red card though. Second half thought we looked better team scored great goal and thought there was only going to be one winner then Dundee hit a wonder goal. Now to contradict myself a bit. Not convinced by Bratveit at all. Looks an awful keeper. Aremu is either massively unfit or shite I just cannot work out which. I am not convinced by Frame defensively. Looks okay going forward but that’s it. Geiger is also not match fit but can see a player there but until he gets fit he is going to give away a lot of fouls as looks yard off the pace of the game at the moment. Morrison should not be starting if any of the other centre backs are fit. He’s shite.1 point

Maybe, but my spidey senses are tingling I'm just hoping for a Kelt vs Seve's child confrontation on here at some point. There's a bit too much sensible discussion on here for my liking. Need some mentalists to complete the circle.1 point

I am not convinced that Leven is getting much input this time around. I think our Director of Football is having a lot of influence.1 point

I thought we deserved a point. Was a superb strike to win it. Red card changed the game. I thought the guy dived, so have to assume VAR called it right The time it took VAR to make a decision at the pen/red card showed once again that it should be ditched until we can afford a better version of it.1 point

We can't bemoan the state of Scottish football and then worry about a non cheek winning it. If it's not us winning it, why give a fuck. It will happen at some point, but not this season. Of course it would be shyte if Hearts were to win it, as a very deluded fan base that don't habit the same planet as the rest of us. Only the jutes are more deluded. Take comfort that if they do win it, we will always be the better club and can also remind them of their FIVE top flight relegation and TWO administrations. They'll also never have two stars on their jersey for winning two European trophies.1 point

I have this thought when I look at the league table - do I want Hearts to win the league? I'm conflicted. I detest Rangers and Celtic. Rangers more so, but Celtic not too far off. Outside of those two, it is then Hearts and Dundee Utd. Other teams are just football teams and don't bother me too much apart from the Killie home for retired huns set-up (and plastic pitch). If it came to a two horse race for the league between huns and Hearts, I would 100% want Hearts to win. However, if it came to Celtic and Hearts, I think (and I won't be sure until it happens) that I would want Celtic to win. My dislike for Celtic is greater than that of Hearts, but not enough that I would want Hearts to take away the fact we were the last non-Glasgow twosome team (taking both incarnations or the two separate huns teams into account) to win the league. If it meant Celtic winning the league to preserve that a little longer, then I think I would accept it. No fuckin way I want the huns to win the league, so would let our 'record' go if that were the case.1 point

It is all a result of poor recruitment and premature punting without any succession planning. There is no responsibility taken in that fob off. As you say it is a shit situation and it shows no sign of improving.0 points
