Aye. At this rate, Willie Garner will have to discard the suit, and resume his stopper act. Just don’t do what you did in your debut for the Timbastards, Willie, and score two own goals.2 points

It really is absolutely appalling how much stick John is taking for this. My heart really goes out to him, it should have been one of the best nights of his life and now it will be a sore memory forever. I'll say this though, Scotland has not been so united in their support for one of their citizens since Smeato stopped that attack on Glasgow Airport.2 points

We all knew that there was no update though. Many on here were crying out for there to be an update on the no update. He couldn't win, really.2 points

I would have taken a draw before a ball was kicked. A point away from home. A clean sheet and no red card. Got to take the positives where we can find them. I don't think Molloy is as bad as many make out. Tynecastle on Saturday and Tims up here next Wednesday night 6 points from those two games and we're right back in the mix for top six. Nae exactly the season we expected, when we lifted the cup 9 months ago today.1 point

The better of two poor teams, but we didn’t really do enough to deserve the win if we’re honest. You can’t miss an open goal though ffs. Nisbet was good, but that was horrific. Defence not too bad overall though still a few unnecessary scares. Molloy did well at LB tbf. Shinnie was excellent in the middle, broke up play and won loads of second balls, Cameron busy but pretty ineffective and Geiger was anonymous. Bilalovic was absolutely done with at least 20 minutes left, and he was playing shite anyway so why he wasn’t subbed is mystifying. Still, its a point at a ground we’ve struggled in recent years (where haven’t we mind) so take that as a positive and move on I guess…1 point

Predicted we wouldn't get a clean sheet and we did, so there is that, but mainly because United only became a serious threat late on. The better team but there was always that last pass or move that just wouldn't come off, and really there wasn't a huge deal for their goalkeeper to do. We battled and won the majority of 50/50s which at least shows the hunger is still there. Bring that to Tynecastle on Saturday, that's all I ask. Will need a bit more quality in front of goal too.1 point

Fuck me Nisbet - I take it all back Ball over the top though. Thats the way to go here…1 point

TNL was the first (and best). It stopped around 92, I think. TRF published its issue 0 (free) for the Clydebank LC tie/opening of the RDS in Aug 93 and finally gave up last year or the year before. Paper Tiger only survived about 4-5 issues, around 95-97.1 point

He's definitely not built for a heavy pitch. He's built like an urchin from Dickensian times.1 point

I haven’t seen anything in Cameron that suggests he’ll ever be a regular starter for the Huns.1 point

Cheers. Seems to be working well. It's like watching a game from the nineties on youtube, but significantly better than the skipping pish elsewhere.1 point

I like the look of the midfield. I like the look of the front three. The defence and goalkeeper will do very well to have a clean sheet though. Need to score at least twice to win tonight I think.1 point

I’m going into this one with zero expectations tbh. Only way to be just now. Shinnie back should help if he can play like last midweek. Milne should be an upgrade on Morrison - yep Morrison has been that bad. Devlin was horse last weekend too so I’d be happy to see him dropped inna, though Frame & Lobban at FB may lack experience. Gyamfi will no doubt injure himself in a freak gardening accident during warm up so can’t rely on him. If we can keep 11 on the park & actually show the right attitude for 90 mins instead of only part of the game, that would go a long way. Big ask I know…1 point

Not going to be one for the purists tomorrow I suspect. Didn’t see any highlights at weekend as I was behind the couch at the vaguest mention of Scottish football but radio guys were saying the pitch looked terrible at Tannadice for Killie game. Can’t imagine it’ll have improved. I have no idea why I’m going to this but I am. It might be beer.1 point

I just watched the highlights. The Dundee second goal. Not a good look for a new keeper.1 point

We deserved a draw yesterday BUS and we showed good character by getting the equaliser and playing well in the second half, despite going down to 10 and going behind in the first half. They scored a pearler of a goal to win it at the right time, which knocked the stuffing out of us.1 point

If Horneland, surely the unforeseen circumstances would have been in play, when the announcement was supposedly imminent 10 days ago.1 point

Sorry man, disagree, good update. Good managers are hard to find and we need to get this right, which in itself requires luck and timing. Saying something but nothing in a way, but least it’s an update. All he can say, and better than silence, you. Can’t say more when things aren’t set. dont disagree too, starting with us midseason is bit of a shit show. Starting in the summer, build a squad, a preseason is the ideal for a coach. If it’s horneland for example, can work with us on recruitment prior to formally being hired, but has a voice in squad building. Realistically, we are not in a good spot right now and hard for a manager to start right now and go forwards immediately. Shit situation, but is what it is. .1 point

Soundbites and platitudes. I expect nothing less from our chairman. What he meant to say is that he hasn't got a clue what the fk is going on. All part of the 3 year plan.1 point

Interesting that Interim Pete is quoted as wanting a word with McLean about our disallowed goal. He recalls, as do I, Motherwell equalising against us from a corner earlier this season without any signal having been given by the WITB, whilst our defence chatted about which club they’d go to in the evening, and whether to have a black pudden supper, or its mock chop equivalent from the Dolphin chipper later on. Sort it oot, you reffy pricks.1 point

I am all for change if that change is for the better. Have now seen more than enough of Bratveit to see is most certainly not an upgrade on Mitov. Hopefully Mitov back in between the sticks from Wednesday at tannadump and for the rest of the season. Nisbet MOTM easily yesterday and is most probably one of the most hard working players we have. He certainly and clearly gives a fuk and tries his best every single week which is not a lot to ask. Sadly we cannot say the same about many of that fukin charlatans that were prancing around the pitch yesterday. Got what we deserved once again1 point

I am hopeful of keeping Cameron if he does well enough 2bf, he seems really happy to be here and I don't think Rohl has much interest in him.1 point

If there is a contractual agreement wrapped around him in terms of next job and it carries significant financial return then I’d be surprised if he answered yes to that question. Suspect that Lutz has been pushing the idea that we should wait until summer as the market is poor this time of year, he has said as much. If they are looking at a strategic appointment to shape the squad long term (date I say a 3 year project ) then he will know summer is a better time. The Horneland discussion possibly presents a convenient get out. Whether it’s him or not, we are clearly waiting so we may as well get our heads down and accept it’s Leven and Doc who’ll be lifting the cup.1 point

It's amazing how football is still able to surprise. I've been fan of the game since 1990 and I have never heard of Bukta before. If anyone is in the same boat https://www.footballshirtculture.com/kit-design/the-history-of-bukta.html1 point

Sounds like the 70-71 clobber. I still have my Dons Subbuteo team of that season somewhere in the depths of the loft, numbers hand-painted on with a pin, and hair coloured to match the players’ barnets. Hummel Paints had no ginger shade, so our number 8’s heid is the same colour as his shirt, shorts, and socks. Neither Olivia Newton-John nor Stevie Nicks are in the team box, but I did raid another team so that we has a sub - George Buchan, whose coiffeur shade matches the 12 on his back. There is also a change strip XI, which was bought fae Jimmy Asher’s in Keith as Chelsea before customisation. The 70-71 outfit was a classic, and that squad is up there with 1983 in my mind.1 point

I got A Hard Day's Night on DVD out of a charity shop last week for 50p. Great film. Just think, when it came out in 1964, for 50p you could get a bus to the cinema, two tickets to the film, chips and a bottle of Bon Accord ale afterwards and the bus home, and still have enough change to put a deposit down on a three bedroom house. Changed days.1 point

Better team, loads of the ball, done absolutely nothing with it as per usual as zero quality in final third as per usual. Best chances to the joot natch. Great save fae Bratveit fae the volley. The free header at the back post was just criminal, Milne (pretty sure it was him) just let his man go. It’s absolutely unacceptable the way we are so weak at set pieces. Nisbet has been excellent, putting in a power of work, defence and attack, linking play well, needs some service. McIntyre was looking good, so naturally he’s gone off injured. A CM bought on at CH when you have a CH at LB and a LB on the bench? Make that make sense. Midfield been much better wi Shinnie in there, just need to try and create more. Geiger has been pretty anonymous mind, as has Bilalovic again. Balls over the top for Olysanyas pace (he’s not a footballer any day of the week) seems to be the way to go in these conditions. Could go either way this…0 points
