  1. If true, it puts a lot of the howling at the moon going on into perspective. Club would then appear to be doing exactly the right thing. If true.

  2. I’d quite like the Greens to win. They’re the only sane party running

  3. They will however, potentially have a huge say as to where the title finally ends up. Easily capable of taking points from all those in the top 6.

  5. That’s the only logic to me. There’s a ton of experienced coaches available, including Scot’s who know the league, people like don cowie, John Hughes, Steven Maclean, no clue if they’d take an interm role but they have experience and know Scottish football, and may want the exposure. It has to be the beginning of new coaching staff arriving. Obviously ties to Norway and chance to get to know the league, the players etc. and connect with horneland.

  9. That’s quite a leap from yesterday’s squashed crow post.

  10. Nice one. My mate is a lecturer and was told over 20 years ago by his university, not to leave him alone with any students Nice chap though, down to earth, type of guy you could go for a pint with

  11. Between him, Farage, Starmer, Swinney and Badenoch, I think the creepometer would barely move.

  12. Well said! Their season has given us all a bit of hope, that with the right manager and structure in place, our fortunes could change. It's a flash in the pan for Motherwell and no long term threat to anyone. Their manager will go in the summer and teams will cherry pick their better players, but their fans will remember it for years to come. Hopefully it's our turn, next season, for a good league campaign.

  15. It doesn't really matter who wins, nothing will change. Would be funny if deform didn't win it and if our known right wing poster thinks the Greens are batshit crazy, then they'll do for me.

  16. Anybody but the Greens, they're batsh!t crazy.

  17. It’s actually a decent read as you get a cross pollination of views from various fans and they generally keep the bigot brothers on a separate forum. It’s got a quite a lot of Motherwell, St Mirren etc types but the views are quite reasonable. Zoomers seem to be at a minimum.

  18. No Liverpool and Spurs can get either Atletico Madrid or Galatasaray. Agree that the old format was better and made European nights special. Knock out games are only bits of European competitions that are worth watching now. Sadly not going to go back to the old format as you say.

  21. Really looking forward to this one. Potentially the last chance we get this season to load up on beer and stand in the ever present forest of expectation, just for a moment. COYR.

  22. Yeah, for an evening game in Feb, on a pitch that would have been more at home in Passchendaele, after the game was rearranged and we’ve been playing like East Stirling I’d say 2000+ is a god damn miracle

  23. Well we're a point better off after last night than I thought we would be.

  24. Ash Taylor has announced his retirement, at the age of 35. A good loon. Maligned by some, but he'd easily improve our current defense.

  25. Im all for it provided they dont play politics by deciding to just propose things without costing and change free to 'free at the point of service'. Then perhaps balance things out making bus/ public transport 'not for profit' and use the extra revenew from Glasgow, Edinburgh etc to subcidise services in rural areas. Of course they could also break the bullshit and and say ' right things in the sick little nimby island have gone seriously downhill since 2008. You the voters have a choice. We carry on as we are with some people genuinly not knowing that the tax in yer pay cheque is for schools, hospitals, roads and so on (a real downer for me was a conversation I had with a much younger highly educated professional who had somehow gone through their adult life thinking income tax and national insurance was just something to pay the politicians.....well we had a tory government at the time so there is some merit) or we perhaps start emulating what those crazy Danes, Norwegians, Swedes etc have been doing. Start thinking as a society and not the Thatcherite ME ME ME If a politician offers a tax cut start asking what that extra £6 a year in yer pocket will actually cost you (a school, hospital ward, dentist, GPs fire station, police station etc) If a government tells you they will freeze council tax start actually ondering how the fuck yer local authority is going pay for things after 5 years of inflation. In fact just forget the whole thing. Country is fucked, everyone loves their own echo chamber so may as well throw ourselves in front of a local bus assuming they havent cut the service before you reach the pavement
