I'm just bumping this up in case anyone starts another match thread.3 points

Well no surprise that result. We’ve certainly been worse, but we’re a nothing team - we’ve just got nothing about us at all. Cant impose ourselves on a game, don’t create anything, there’s just nothing there. Nobody was horrible (Morrison clusterfuck apart) nobody was particularly good. Twice we hit the byline, cut the ball back and Olusanya and Devlin went for balls they should have left for a much better placed Nisbet, and naturally they both fucked it up. Diets hit the byline, cut back, goal. Thats the difference, execution and decision making, we’re shite at it. Still, today’s results pretty much went for us so we should have enough points on the board to avoid 11th, well done us. Get Wednesdays next pointless game out the way then its all about next Saturday. Near 11 hours without an away goal now, so can any of us honestly say we trust this lot down there, cause I can’t, just gotta hope for the best…3 points

Zero shots on target for another 90 minutes and not one away goal all year. Hard to believe that we could get worse after Thelin but here we are. Anyone believing we are completely safe from the play off spot is totally deluded.2 points

A lot of Dons fans said derogatory things about McInnes, so he can say what he likes about us. The hun c*nt.1 point

So, the most pointless fixture in Scottish football comes round again. Can we keep a clean sheet at home for the first time since 2001? I’ll go out on a limb and say no. Next Saturday is infinitely more important, so be sensible, pick a side that is designed to set us up with the best chance of winning next Saturday in mind, and just get this one out the way…1 point

All or nothing this one. Whole season riding on it. Just gotta hope they’ve got enough about them to get the job done…1 point

Yet more cheating. Penalty and they didn't even go to VAR. Good performance form the Dons today.1 point

He's an inexperienced young lad playing on his wrong foot. Ifil and Stewart were "seasoned pros". It's not Morrison's fault he was signed, or is being picked. It was fairly clear that we needed an experienced player to play alongside Milne, and we got that in McIntyre I suppose, and Morrison shouldn't have been signed. Nilsen would have been fine in any of the games where we've played Morrison, and then Molloy for the period until McIntyre returned. To be honest, we still have a real issue when Knoester is fit. I like him, but I'm still not convinced he really suits the league. He's good on the ball, and good positionally, but he's not brilliant in the air and often lets his man run away from him. Not the sort of guy we really need alongside a young player that we want to see improve. For this game, we should have opted for a back three in my opinion.1 point

Dinna worry it's Devlin, Milne, Morrison and Molloy instead. Much more secure1 point

Armstrong is only suitable against teams like Livingston if he's playing number 8. He basically needs to be where Cameron is or not playing. There's probably a way to fit him into one of the wide roles if we're playing a back four. Probably best off the bench at the moment though.1 point

I dunno if I'd start him. I think Olusanya and Nisbet do manage to cause a wee bit of havoc together if played as a front two, which I think we've been trying to do (looking more closely at the average positions v Dundee United). It's like we're 4-3-3 out of possession but a 3-1-4-2 in possession.1 point

My take is Fergie is trying to help stick it to the ugly sisters one last time 2bh. There's no doubt in my mind that the Dons hold a very special place in his heart but so does the game in Scotland in general and I can understand why he's taking an interest in Hearts. Don't forget we took Stein with us to Gothenburg and I personally have no beef with AF offering some wisdom and encouragement to McInnes given what's at stake.1 point

I think the word 'normal' can be linked to a fuckload of the problems humans have brought upon themselves. What is 'normal' to one person can be odd/ frustating/ scary/ criminal and so on to the next. It opens your eyes when you suddenly find yourself as an alleged 'adult' discussing the things your family or friend groups did in the past sometimes and pieces of an eternal jigsaw start falling into place. Perhaps the rose tinted specs fall off your memories, or you suddenly develop extreme empathy for someone you didnt get on with at school. The way humanity has and still is 'playing god' should see words like 'normal' relegated to the history books. If you have the confidence nay arrogance to declare yourself 'normal' compared to anyone other than yourself Id say start thinking a bit more. My birthday is closer to the second world war than to today. What exactly was 'normal' to someone my age in the 1940s? What was 'normal' to someone my age in the 1840s? 'Normal' can be weaponised in the same way as 'tradition' is. An excuse to hold onto something which when actually considered properly makes no sense sometimes to the detrimint of society A device to spread division for ill gotten gains and ulterior motives Brexit springs to mind. A catastrophic piece of self harm part of which was driven by the belief that 'modern britain' wasnt normal, and the knowledge that lots of people do things without taking even an extra 5seconds to consider.it. The only thing Id say is 'normal' among humans is the inevitable path to self destruction through over confidence in our own abilities and an insatiable blood lust to consume until its all gone. Be careful who you put your faith and support in and always consider 'could I handle it if what I believe and trust was ever found to be a lie/ secretly abhorrent. If yer human you will eventually become a dickhead. The only way I see to cope with that is to endeavour to be less of a.dickhead the more you learn. Anyway.politics then. Im seeing the Green bloke getting a lot of praise. Perhaps he has a bit of sense and wont send his candidates around doorstepping people with the message to protest something local which is already too late to stop. And finally id encourage you all to read 'private eye' occssionally. Its not online so can give yer eyes and brain a rest from 'Ziggy's box of distraction' and take comfort in turnimg a paper page1 point

Except we’d have to be out of the Premier division to qualify to play in it. Nae for me, thanks.1 point

No, but it makes the here and now a lot more interesting. Fitba is becoming stale and stagnant, the same teams winning season after season all around Europe. Sport is pointless when you can award the trophy before the competition even starts. It would just be great to see something different and a few old firm tears.1 point

So you’re basically just scared of a bit of healthy competition in case your team does not win.1 point

It’s a fantastic day. Great to see the old firm squirming. Hearts have given our league the shake up it needs. Would you prefer another 40 years of the same sides winning the title? This is the most exciting title race in decades. Supporting the old firm just because it would take away the fact the Dons are the last other side to win the league is just sad, bitter and pathetic.1 point

Im all for it provided they dont play politics by deciding to just propose things without costing and change free to 'free at the point of service'. Then perhaps balance things out making bus/ public transport 'not for profit' and use the extra revenew from Glasgow, Edinburgh etc to subcidise services in rural areas. Of course they could also break the bullshit and and say ' right things in the sick little nimby island have gone seriously downhill since 2008. You the voters have a choice. We carry on as we are with some people genuinly not knowing that the tax in yer pay cheque is for schools, hospitals, roads and so on (a real downer for me was a conversation I had with a much younger highly educated professional who had somehow gone through their adult life thinking income tax and national insurance was just something to pay the politicians.....well we had a tory government at the time so there is some merit) or we perhaps start emulating what those crazy Danes, Norwegians, Swedes etc have been doing. Start thinking as a society and not the Thatcherite ME ME ME If a politician offers a tax cut start asking what that extra £6 a year in yer pocket will actually cost you (a school, hospital ward, dentist, GPs fire station, police station etc) If a government tells you they will freeze council tax start actually ondering how the fuck yer local authority is going pay for things after 5 years of inflation. In fact just forget the whole thing. Country is fucked, everyone loves their own echo chamber so may as well throw ourselves in front of a local bus assuming they havent cut the service before you reach the pavement1 point
