"Hello, my name is Elgin Don, and I love the pars. Could I purchase a ticket to see the pars this weekend please? I love Craig Brewster and Stevie Crawford. Until they joined those horrible reds from Aberdeen of course, I hate those guys. Neil Lennon is a wonderful man, who I have nothing but respect for."4 points

I try hard to be open minded, but you’ve lost me here. You’re not really saying you don’t want support for homeless people? I think nearly all of us take for granted our homes, but not much has to go wrong for that to be taken away from us. Rawls and his “veil of ignorance “ is a good test for thinking about these things. Me, I’m all for the welfare state and a safety net for those less fortunate. Europe has a lot to be proud of and thankful for.4 points

It's 100% going to be a stick to beat him with. Twice in the interview he mentioned how "competitive" the league was this season, so to then go on and "guarantee" that we will be competitive will absolutely be taken that we'll be in a title race next season. That's a stupid thing to say, even if he believes it, when we don't currently have a head coach or a squad in place as he simply can't make that promise. I don't have a problem with Cormack in general - it's like people have forgotten that Stuart Milne ever existed when they call Cormack "a clown" and "lacking ambition" - but in our current situation the message should be that we're working as hard as ever to do better and any "guarantee" should only relate to effort levels and investment rather than outcomes.3 points

Definitely a lower level but having 10 goals in championship and being talked about as one best players in that league at 19 we should be seeing if he capable of stepping up. At a minimum we need to ensure an offer is made to ensure we get compensation if he leaves in the summer.3 points

Game day. No optimism for this one, but I'll trudge along to it more in hope than expectation.3 points

The fact that we even made a Wilfred Nancy Septic team look good last year, shows you what we are up against tomorrow night. I actually think we have looked better as a team recently, just lacking confidence all over the park and experience in certain areas. Be lovely to get something tomorrow night and derail their quest for the title3 points

Just back. Thought we played well tonight. Olysana is just a black Curtis Main. Never a footballer. Jensen and Nilsen did well. I thought Nilsen had his best game for us. Nisbet put in a shif as usual. Cameron was good, probably hoping his employers were watching. Armstrong was spent early second half. Molly was decent, Frame improves with every game and can fairly cross a ball. I don't watch much fitba, outwith the Don's, but the regression of the Septic team is startling. They are really shyte. Play like we did tonight on Saturday and we'll be OK. Jack off injured wasn't good to see. Stretched enough at the back as it is. A strange atmosphere at the game tonight, even outside the ground before it, felt more like a Livi game than the Tims. Gnasher was up on the big screen, reading his phone. The manager guy was also up on screen, sitting next to Lutz, up in the stand and not on the bench.2 points

Olusanya would be some player if he knew what to do with the ball when he had it.2 points

Going to have to consider taking Nilsen off as looking like Walsh is itching to give him a second yellow.2 points

I’ve reconciled myself that the only way Jambos don’t win the title now is if they have an arse collapse (it’s Hearts so that is entirely likely). We need to get points. 100% we have to beat Celtic tonight, non-negotiable. Fuck worrying about other tin pot clubs who only win silverware if it was pre1903, they cheated their creditors or it was the championship title. ….or the tennents sixes. …..or runners-up in the fucking Texaco Cup.2 points

FFS min. Of course our Government learned from it. If it happened again tomorrow, they wouldn't organise their office parties through WhatsApp.2 points

I would like to think we will be safe, but I won't relax until it's mathematically certain that we are staying up.2 points

Quite funny how it's all worked out. When this game was originally due to be played, we planned to have Eirik Horneland as a guest. Now it's been rearranged, tonight we plan to have Sandro Schwarz as a guest.2 points

Unfortunately I don’t know if you need a previous buying history to get them online. There systems might not be as complex as I was able to get 5 tickets online before they were on general sale through a Pars season ticket. I do know that home fans can also get e-tickets instead of paper ones. If you do decide to phone, just remember to call the person who answers ‘neebour’ and you should be fine, yeh ken!2 points

I really dont have much of an opinion with Iran. Between work, family, and a sprinkling of footie, don’t really have time to watch the news these days. And as I’ve said before, regardless of the news you watch, no clue what to believe. trump certainly is an oddball, wouldn’t call him an imbecile, he’s a businessman. And very arrogant and doesn’t give two shits about his portrayal in the media, a huge mistake if you ask me. He’s done quite a few good things but a combo of dramas, plus the one sided media, he’s not getting an abundance of positive media, some negativity deserved. He went to the Middle East a few weeks ago, held a bunch of meetings, bunch of deals, now this. I can only assume he has the support of other Middle East countries, and it’s not just US/israel. Bigger picture, def fear for the republicans and midterms. Said it many times since 2016, I think we’d be much worse off under the democrats, I got to experience firsthand in LA for 17 years the madness and divisiveness of a woke leadership and agenda, no thanks. Trump committed to America first and I support that, but it’s been constant jumping between the challenges of immigration, ice, Greenland, Venezuela, Israel/palestine, now Iran, too much negative drama and controversy that hurts the republicans, and a lot of the positives get pushed aside. he’ll be slammed for not doing enough at home, particularly with cost of living, including housing prices, and focusing too much abroad. Rotating political parties every four years with polar opposite agendas doesn’t benefit anyone, here or abroad.2 points

This. Interim Pete said on Sportsound that he thought that Milne was just suffering from cramp. The one still of the Stinkies’ second goal shown on Section Y TV looked hoorin like offside to me. The best I’ve seen us play in weeks. The usual knuckle-draggers’ scapegoats, Nielsen and Jensen did well, and Armstrong possibly was the most involved I’ve seen him since he signed.1 point

Just back. We weren't terrible. Cameron MOTM, and head in his hands in the 92nd minute as he knew immediately what he should have done (must be weird for a Hun not to automatically cheat). That's the worst Tim team I've seen in a long time. I'd say that they were there for the taking, but not when you have a cursory glance at our first eleven. That midfield is weak as piss. Geiger chasing shadows for a lot of it until he decided he'd had enough (although Shinnie never got up to speed when he came on either). Olusanya played well, apart from when he got the ball, but that's what we needed. Bilalovic was not only poor when he came on, but he also never did the work. Lazy was an understatement and it should be his last appearance for a while. Frame started poorly, but had a good game. Milne did well until he hurt himself with that random slip. Nilsen was good and Morrison was okay, with Molloy just being dependable mostly at the back. Armstrong fine but really needs to be playing further forward so it's easier to deal with his errors, especially towards the end when he was shattered. I'm fairly convinced that Hearts are winning the league after seeing that Tim team.1 point

Hopefully he's on our side, because we could do with a miracle.1 point

Of course theres information on both sides but half of it is complete shite. You can say that about any subject on planet earth. What will really frazzle your mind is why you’re saying it about vaccines. It’s the same reason transphobia has gone through the roof, it’s the same reason why folk disproportionately hate immigrants and it’s the same reason why folk use the word ‘woke’ to describe everything they don’t understand. I guarantee you if you had unplugged your internet cable in 2013, none of this would matter to you Anyway, here’s a handy link. Read it, or don’t. The facts stay the same regardless http://www.docbastard.net/2019/03/busting-vaccine-myths.html?m=11 point

ASDA's pretty much stock the same things nationwide but the big difference I noticed in the Dunfermline branch was their men's clothing range is named Ken instead of George.1 point

I think we need the win as much as they do, seeing as relegation is becoming more of a possibility with every passing defeat.1 point

There is a large car park on Leys Park Road near the police station. It’s only a few minutes walk to the ground but is the opposite end from the away stand and can get a bit gridlocked when trying to leave. There should be on street parking in the side streets in the Garvock Hill area opposite the main stand. Be careful about parking on the pavement as the council brought in a ban last year. They usually don’t bother about it at night, but I wouldn’t put it past Fife Council sending wardens out on Saturday knowing it will be busy and lots of people from out of town arriving. If you don’t mind walking a wee bit there is the big retail park at Halbeath beside Asda. It’s maybe a half hour walk from the ground (you can stop for a drink at The Elizabethan which will probably be full of Dandies) but it’s only a couple of minutes from the M90.1 point

Exactly like that yes but remember also to speak in an affected fife hillbilly accent. Or alternatively buy online and negate the need to say anything at all. Obviously if they require a previous purchase history you're buggered.1 point

Yep. Training facilities are only there to attract players, they don’t make them better or fitter. That can only be done by good coaching. If the facilities themselves made players better, then the Murray Park conveyor belt of talent would have rolled off some superstars by now. I’d say the quality of youth players have been much better at Aberdeen than the Huns since that place was built. Theyre a nice thing to have and all our competitors have them but they don’t improve the players. It’s a myth. When I’m running AFC, the first thing I’m going to do is take a screwdriver to the name plate on it and change it to Teddy Scott.1 point

Thanks for answering but theres some glaring contradictions there. DEIs are a problem but you’ll vote for a party that puts an alcoholic TV host in charge of the military? Vince McMahons wife in charge of education? A puppy killer running homeland security? How many people of colour are in his cabinet? How many out there do you think are better qualified for these positions? When people complain about DEI, basically what they’re saying is ‘whitey can’t catch a break in the job market’. It’s insane Trans rights are human rights but arguing against them isn’t political. It’s evolution you’re arguing against. There always have been and always will be trans people. You can choose to make their lives harder or choose to leave them alone. What i guarantee is that the overwhelming majority of people complaining about them are doing so because they’ve been spoon fed it (Trans for all ) rather than having a negative experience with one Parents for the most part, shouldn’t be informed with what’s happening with their kids at school. There’s a reason why the kids are telling their teachers and not their parents. Trumpism won’t catch on here in the UK. The people trying it are already widely known as complete cunts. We won’t follow in the US in 10 years because in 10 years the boomers will have snuffed it.1 point

I don’t think anyone is talking about things the fans can’t see. Bigger picture is that while it’s a shit situation right now, if you step back, there are plenty of positives, financially sound, no debt, a training facility being key, a cup win. He’s done a lot. Doesn’t mean we should be happy, fully entitled to be pissed off, he is too, and absolutely it’s not a good look for us at present. Also thought discussing Schwartz was rather odd. certainly wasn’t one of his better interviews as has been said, but all not sure what else people expect or want him to say.1 point

At the start of his tenure pal I was thinking the same as you and I was sure his "heart was in the right place" But over the years it has become clearer and clearer that this man is just full of his own importance and with his over inflated ego he is destroying the club. We (the supporters that he thinks about every day) also know what the club needs, but bigger pictures normally start from smaller ones. A correct managerial appointment would be a nice small fukin picture to start with1 point

Includes, but not exclusive to, Dei agenda, I was all in and attended my trainings, was good on paper but over time it went way too far, witnessed how divisive it became and the hostility created, almost like segregation, equality vs equity, equity hiring, optics hiring, quotas hiring versus ability hiring, soft stance on crime, stance on trans rights, particularly transition surgeries for minors, rights of parents and schools not being required to communicate with parents over their child regarding many things including gender/transition, homeless policies and rights, immigration rights, high taxes and funding of homeless, illegal immigrants and tax funding etc., the overuse of the term racist, throw in cancel culture and feelings prioritized over facts too….. Obviously woke was initially racial and social injustice and there is/was so much I agree with, but then it went too far and also became injustice for all, maybe a victim mentality, plus including govt telling you what was right. 100% agree with you in that it should be basic human rights, but believe it has gone way past that, became very political, and obvious overreach. And there’s obviously debate on what human rights are, the illegal immigration situation here being a good and complex example. I witnessed and experienced a lot in California. Obviously I carry the baggage of losing my job (and my life as I knew it) and my kids being kicked out of school for refusing the covid vaccine, I’d maybe even potentially add that to the woke agenda and overreach. if you look at the high and increasing cost of living in California, extremely high and increasing taxes, the crime, the possibility of a wealth tax, the people leaving California, it’s not sustainable. Go and visit San Francisco or Los Angeles and you’ll see for yourself, the woke agenda being a big factor in my opinion. I loved LA and lived there for 17 years, but like the many others who are leaving, businesses leaving California, it doesn’t work there any more and it is a state in decline. just answering your question, not debating you. We don’t see eye to eye, I’m not here to try to convince you or anyone. Much like with rico, you asked me a question, I answered. I also think we are maybe 10 years ahead of you culturally, more or less depending on whether it’s city or rural, not saying better or advanced, just that what happens here makes it way to you over time.1 point

I actually listened to the recent episode on the way home yesterday after it was advertised on here, and I had AI vibes too. I've been on the HereWeGo podcast a few times in the past as a guest, but sullied myself each time by talking shite. I think I'm better off with the written word rather than trying to have real life human interactions.1 point

Another decent performance. I know it's not fashionable to be positive but that's several matches recently where we've played some fantastic football. No way the Celtic goal wasn't offside. I was standing pretty much in line with it. 100% OFF. Play even half as well again on Saturday and Dunfermline won't stand a chance. Only player I'd single out for criticism is Cameron. We should just rip up the loan deal contract and send him back early. He doesn't belong. Milne looked to be injured when he went off so not sure if he'll be back in time for Saturday. Must be a doubt.0 points
