  1. You cry fictional xenophobia when I've not actually said I would prefer a Scottish manager (FYI Scotland is still a European country geographically even if out of the EU BTW). Then you are actually xenophobic by saying the manager must come from only European countries thus ruling out any nationalities from north and south America, Asia, Africa and Oceania. Mate, you're all over the fucking place. Go find a mirror and have a wee word with yourself would be my advice.

  2. Your determination to derail every thread by saying the same thing over and over again, and then insulting anyone who disagrees with your opinion, got boring a long time ago.

  4. I don't think more disruption is what is needed right now, we tried the interim interim boss thing with Warnock and it was a shit show. Chasing the "new manager bounce" dragon rarely ends well. Next person to be sitting in the manager's office should be our next permanent manager.

  6. Aye, that was a personal big hurt for me. Ah was one o' that collective fa recorded 'The Sheep are on Fire' along wi' Sid Ozalid, Jimmy Jazz, Richard Gordon an' Co. following our 2014 League Cup triumph .... had we made the Scottish Cup final, we were all set tae perform the song live (or at least, lip-sync live ) pre-match at fkn Hampden .... ye can imagine how excited Ah'd gotten ... but alas Ach weel, ye dinna appreciate the good days til yev come oot o' the shite .... onwards an' upwards ... Don til dead ... COYR .. Stand Free ... Fuck the Tims .. Fuck the Huns .... etc .. etc ...

  7. .... ..... I imagine pretty much every test driver Ferrari have ever had was a boy racer at some point. Bizzare comparison regardless though. Have you watched Falkirk much? I saw a fair bit of them last season and was very impressed how they moved the ball. That they have continued to have success in the top flight without really compromising how they go about their business is very impressive considering they were in the 3rd tier two seasons ago. McGlynn has got talent, clearly. He also has experience and defo an eye for a player. He's able to spot a capable striker at this level playing in a university team whilst we are wasting money on the likes of Ambrose and Yengi ffs. At the very least he would be a safe pair of hands but I think he would do very well with an increased budget especially with Mowbray returning as chief scout. You can talk about levels all you want but we are only a big club within the context of Scottish football. Let's face it, in the grand scheme of things every club in Scotland is diddy as fuck.

  10. I'd agree, but they do have some decent kits and I think the issue with Adidas is lack of supply, as we are so low down the food chain. Should also add that this isn't official yet, but getting a lot of traction on social media.

  11. Bayern 3-0 up away to Atalanta at half time as well.

  12. Spurs taking a doing off Atletico. 4-0 down after 25 minutes and keeper subbed off after 15 minutes and he wasn’t injured.

  13. Too US and war biased for you? You can also filter by country and region. It's not hard if you want to tune certain things out.

  15. Your weekly reminder that Lennon called us sheepsgaggers over the Parkhead tannoy and lied about receiving sectarian abuse from us at Tynecastle. Dunfermlines league position shows how good they are when they’re not playing us every week. He’s a total throbber who can’t work a toothbrush, a washing machine or eat biscuits without spilling the crumbs all over himself It’s a hard pass from me

  16. I definitely think lutz has input, that’s his job. We’ve talked about someone holding the manager/head coach accountable, that involves asking questions and giving feedback. He’ll give leven things to think about, and it’s very normal over here for your director of football to be on the bench, giving insight and there for support/discussion. As you say, we’re also juggling things around right now trying to find a winning formula, plus with signing Geiger afeez and olusanya, they’ll play because our other options are so poor …….then afeez proves he’s not ready. Agree with playing sivert, but I’d go 3-5-2 for the remainder of the season. Sivert inbetween Milne and McIntyre. Wing backs devlin/lobban and frame, with Geiger shinnie and Cameron, nisbet and olusanya up top. All of our wingers are crap, why play with wingers. We can get width from the wingbacks, and the diagonal runs from Cameron and olusanya. Up top the bizarre thing is nisbet is playing well and looks fit, plus the pace of olusanya will help and he’s not required to play with too much skill compared to being wide, he can run into through balls and flick one from nisbet. it’s not a sparkling team, but I think the back three again will make us harder to beat. Two up top with support from a mobile Cameron will hopefully give us chances and a goal or two. It’s doesn’t need to be a defensive line up, but it will make us more compact and a more solid block defensively. wouldn’t mind seeing Kjarten given minutes with us limited in central midfield options, maybe when shinnie has run his race, throw him out there.

  17. Devlin is sitting next to the stairs, presumably because his knee is in a brace so he can stretch and not have to hobble all the way along the row. I'm not reading a whole lot into that. I'm more concerned about the remaining FMB members sitting together (because it'll never end well if that brains trust is allowed to scheme).

  18. No worries min, my reply wasn’t actually aimed at you I think “picking the team” might be slightly strong in describing what’s happening, Leven must have a voice too. I have absolutely no doubt that Lutz is heavily involved in it though, and probably has far too much say given the selections we are seeing. Either way, there still should be consequences for that embarrassment on Saturday. At the very least on the pitch. 2-0 Falkirk, a stroll for them. Our lot have neither the ability, nor desire to beat a team who are on the up and very much high on confidence & belief…

  19. Great to see three 'wee' clubs in the semis. All there on merit, and way better than the engineered pish in, for example, the Champions League where it is hard for the 'big' clubs not to get there. It's what cup football is all about. But I'm pretty fuckin pissed off a 'wee' club is there at our expense

  20. It's harsh, because it's not his job. It's like asking Sarah from accounts to cover HR for Julie, who's on maternity leave, for a few months and then sacking Sarah because she accidentally paid someone the wrong amount. I don't think any of us know whether Leven is good at his actual role at the club or not. He should at least be given the opportunity to return to that role either now or once a new manager is in place should they wish to retain him. It's is very unfair to expect him to be good at the role of manager when it's not his job, or what he's being paid to do. That the club can't get their shite together for a replacement for Thelin is not Leven's fault, and he shouldn't be punished for it. Being a constant doesn't infer blame. The youth team staff have been fairly constant too, but they're not at fault, neither the admin staff. None of us have the slightest clue what Leven's day to day responsibilities were under Thelin or prior. It's possible to be good at being a coach and foil for a manager but be shite at tactics and taking responsibility. Plenty here seem to be suggesting that we sack Leven and promote a guy who fits exactly that description in Docherty. We're basically suggesting replacing one caretaker manager for another caretaker manager with the exact same skillset. Leven is a pish manager, but we've made and shat in that bed and we have to live with it until we can do the right thing and get a proper manager. Firing the guy that we've asked to do a favour for a few weeks isn't the answer to anything.

  21. We want a 'good' manager. We need a 'good' manager. Unfortunately, no manager with even a little sense is going to touch us at the moment. Stuff all this nonsense of nobody until summer, as that's all it is. Media being fed shit from Lutz and Cormack.
