  1. Labour are taking a hammering in Wales too. Sad to see a nation that has given us some great Socialist politicians and remained rock solid throughout the miners strike, vote for Reform though.

  2. Local elections used to be what they said on the tin, but now they seem to be about the national picture. Load of bollocks really. Long gone are the days when a good independent candidate could get in because they knew how to get a library re-opened or sort out the pot holes in your area. As for Reform, they have a horrific record running some councils in England but still the happy clappers are voting for them. Right wing media is hugely complicit in this.

  3. Ony o you auld buggers ever play 'schoolbugs? ... or 'schoolbags' if ye were at a mair posh school than Powis? Rules: ye put yer 'schoolbug' .... or coat/jersey doon ..... as other players would .... kinda evenly spaced in a smallish play area. Ye kicked the baa aboot lookin' tae strike a 'schoolbug' ither than yer ain. Ye each got 3 'lifies' .... and if yer 'schoolbug' got hit, ye lost a 'lifie' If ye lost yer 3rd 'lifie' ye got a 'free pop' ... ie. ye could tak a shot fae the front o' yer ain 'schoolbug' and hope tae hit anither player's 'schoolbug' ..... miss? yer oot. hit? yer back on a 'doggies' ..... so, next time yer 'schoolbug' gets hit .. yer oot! .... and the remainin' players play on til one prevails. It was always a heap o' fun .... but Ah'm thinkin .... Wid it nae be a good fun if, rether than the beaks coont yella cards, onybody wi two or mair yella cards can play 'schoolbugs' wi' the aim o' reducin' their coont? Let's say ye play in 4s .... winner reduces yella card coot by 2 .... runner up, by 1. A ref (obviously a neutral unbiased one ... stop laughin'! ) will oversee .... so ony yella card offences ... or even reds! .... get added tae a players tally! Widna draa a crowd, but good telly maybe every six wikks Fit's yer thochts?

  5. Keep practising on drawing an X and I'm sure one day you'll manage to vote.

  6. When their posters outside a polling station simply say 'vote for us to stop the SNP' id say they have already lost their credibility.

  7. To be fair to him, he's not just trying to get them on board, he's actually been successful in getting them on board in his cabinet, e.g. Home Secretary.

  8. The way prices are escalating for the World Cup, you'd probably be cheaper buying a car rather than hiring one.

  10. A fair few rumours around that Mitov will be off this summer. Hope it is just shyte, as I like our cup final hero and our keeper signings have been sketchy,at best, over the past 30 years.

  11. I don't know about England and Wales, but talk of around only 50% of voters in Scotland bothered to vote yesterday. Can't blame folk for not bothering, the whole game stinks.

  13. I can say for certain, I have never felt so apathetic about voting ..... yet, acknowledging the duty to 'voice' ..... then i looked at the 'choices' I was presented with .... I ended up holding my nose whilst forming one cross on one paper, and going 'what the hell' on my cross on the other. Disenfranchised or what?

  16. Huge challenge for Labour but could see the demise of the Tories as a credible party.

  17. Funny. I heard you were pumping the chairman and his wife.

  18. It could have been both. Nae at the same time, though. That's just wrong.

  23. The Restore Party is just Reform on steroids. I know I go on about it but the mistake Rupert is making, is that he thinks Facebook bots are real. His pages have thousands of him praising his common sense policies He’s a senile racist wanker.

  24. If there was a law passed that everyone on an internet forum had to use their real name and have a photo of them as their profile picture, stripping everyone of their anonymity, that entire forum would change overnight.

  25. They even did a special valentine themed deal for 3 months earlier in year where you could take a partner/loved one for £19 too. I was able to bring a fellow Globe Red up to Tannadice for a riveting 0-0 and they didn’t even have to be in their 50s

  26. That’s a bloody good deal. So there are benefits to being 50 after all

  27. That’s the beauty of a Club50 railcard. £15 to buy and they do flat fare deals. Travel anywhere in Scotland for £19 return. They are doing one from tomorrow for next 6 weeks.

  28. Kilmarnock currently giving Dundee United the runaround. As it stands (3-0), the goal difference between us and United is five goals, and we're six points behind, so a win and it's very much on to finish above them. That, of course, is a very small prize. But it is worth about £80,000, which would give us Geiger for about two weeks next season...
