  2. And there we are. Mathematically safe with 2 games to go. Some achievement. Go us. That game had distinct end of season vibes. A familiar recent pattern too, decent first half then a rather ropey second. Fitness is clearly an issue, Aremu being a glaring example. Second half he ran like he was towing a caravan and was breathing out his arse - again. Fair play, Olusanya had a good game today and deserved a goal (even he couldn’t miss that). He does cause problems and offers a physicality we’ve been badly missing, but surely we can sign a striker who offers that and can also play football. While I give no credit to that bin fire of a squad after the shit show of this season, full credit to Robinson for getting enough out of them to get us safe. Fucked over the buds by coming here when he did which helped us out & got some structure in place at last to at least make that lot difficult to beat. Now, bin at least 80% of that squad, do recruitment this summer like the diets & well did last summer & lets never talk of this season again…

  3. Totally agree. It’s going to be really interesting to see how this rabble actually govern. Hopefully it shines a light on what a useless crowd of power hungry morons they have assembled before the next GE. The people of North England have been let down so badly by Thatchers Tories destroying manufacturing and sense of community and then by Cameron/Osborne and their austerity. Blair did little to mend the wounds and these people are so disenfranchised they would vote for Mr Blobby if he said the right things. They need someone to blame for how shit their lot is and Nigel has that story book.

  4. I’m trying to put a positive spin on it. There is no way all those voted in yesterday will actually want to do the work & theres no way the company could’ve properly vetted all those standing. All those racist Facebook mums and former Combat 18 members will not want to fix potholes. Hanging out of Trumps arse might be a poor look in the not too distant future as well.

  5. To be fair to Brora they looked like a team that hadn’t played in a few weeks in the bits I saw. Linlithgow not being being able to play in play offs has probably put them at a disadvantage. Innes Lawson being back has made a massive difference to City as well. I suspect like Zaid (signing for East Kilbride) he won’t be at City next season. On their day both should be playing at a higher level than league 2.

  6. No but one of the PJMs had their shoe thrown on the pitch and when the steward was refusing to return it, it looked like it was going to kick-off in the away end.

  7. I love beating those deluded arseholes in a fixture that is really their cup final. Their manager is a fraud, and their Funso Ojo-assaulting numbskull Fair Play award-winning losers-at-life supporters are fucking morons. I despise them almost as much as I hate those cocksuckers from Glasgow. They’re Grade A fannies. Apart from the foregoing, I have no particularly strong feelings on the matter. Yours in sport etc

  8. 3 Reform councillors departed already. Some Green ‘paper candidates’ also looking ropey as they hadn’t expected to be elected when they agreed to be a name on the ballot in London. One a teacher who isn’t allowed to be a councillor

  10. I am getting the impression that Olusanya will never score for us. In fact I wonder how he managed to score against anyone he is that poor in front of goal.

  11. Odd one, although Jensen and Lobban not in the squad so I’m assuming injuries, and Devin prob not 100%, Milne has been RWB before.

  13. The tied result for second is going to be interesting for FMQs. I wonder what the odds are on the speed at which one of the crooks or grifters in Reform get ousted and they lose that second spot. My favourite is Angela Ross, the first on the list here in Lothians. Runs a company who deliver corporate advice on DEI including to big public sector bodies while representing a party who have said they will scrap all DEI training for public sector When asked, Reform said that ‘having seen these initiatives from the inside, she is well placed to understand their shortcomings’. Cracking business model

  14. I've been told that Suman may be gone in the summer. They don't believe he is of the required standard. I've never saw the lad play, so couldn't say how good he is.

  16. As an outsider, I’d question that. If they actually wanted change, and one that wasn’t bigoted or self serving, surely you vote green? The media always does a good job on portraying them as incompetent, but all the other parties have either been in power and failed, or in reforms case, are crooks?

  17. My seat, Edinburgh Southern is as solid a Labour seat as you’ll find in Scotland. When Scottish Labour went down to 1 MP in Westminster it was here. We’ve delivered again. Great to see Reform get zero constituency seats. Hopefully once those Inverness folk wake up we’ll get a result in the regionals there and fingers crossed Labour get enough to keep reform in third. Greens did brilliantly. End result when it all shakes out looks pretty much the same as 2021 with pro-Indie team getting approx the same seats but more in Greens favour and the right getting the same but split between Reform and Tories.

  18. It’s hard to judge a keeper when your defense is so poor, particularly dealing with crosses, and the keeper makes more poor decisions than normal since he’s forced into doing things he’d not normally do. I’d also say our defense this year has been the worst in quite a long time. Mitov isn’t as good as Lewis, but better than clangers, so could be better could be worse. Not fussed if he stays or goes. Don’t think the new boy was any better or worse, so if we sell mitov we’re at least not stuck with nothing, although I’d certainly expect us to sign a new #1.

  19. Labour are taking a hammering in Wales too. Sad to see a nation that has given us some great Socialist politicians and remained rock solid throughout the miners strike, vote for Reform though.

  24. That’s the beauty of a Club50 railcard. £15 to buy and they do flat fare deals. Travel anywhere in Scotland for £19 return. They are doing one from tomorrow for next 6 weeks.
