  1. That said, if it meant Hearts miss out on a sizeable CL or Europa League windfall then I could be persuaded.

  2. Yeah mate who watches Inverness says he doesn’t think Bavidage is good enough for our level. Stewart on the other hand he has praised regularly.

  3. I'm starting to think you're taking the piss min Three onto The Victims, three off The Jambos, means both are + 32 and The Victims have scored more goals

  4. Wow, two fairytales in one day.

  6. I had a word with the Reds who do the techy stuff a while ago, but they’ve overlooked it. Tsk.

  8. I'm too young to remember Albert Kidd Day, so it's good that the younger generation get to experience Hearts blowing the league title on the final day.

  9. And 1965...3 times they've goine into the last game of the season knowing that avoiding defeat would win them the league...3 times they've fucked up. History repeats itself, first as tragedy, then as farce.

  11. I think that was pretty much the definition of stonewall.

  12. The ref would have to give it though, as the cheap VAR cameras we use up here don't have a wide enough lens to show the entire foreheid.

  13. I'm delighted we are going to give both of them a chance. Can't be any worse than Ambrose, Yengi or Olusanya. Folk say the 2 Alfie's are not good enough for us. Well i say give them the opportunity to show us what they can do and prove otherwise.

  14. I'd settle for another Darren Mackie. Unfortunately he might not even be that but probably worth a punt rather than another "project" debacle.

  15. As they should as that forehead is an offence to humanity.

  16. I'm maybe a bit over skeptical but I never really warmed to Burnham when he was getting himself stuck in to the Hillsborough stuff. Reminded me of those paedo-hunter youtubers, the end result was positive but something just not right about their original motives.

  17. I'm not convinced Bavidge will make the grade, but I'd much rather give him the chance than Lazetic. Hope he does the business.

  18. So those of us of a certain vintage will remember Ian Ure from Ayr, a Scottish footballer, who as far as I'm aware had the shortest name in British football with it being only six letters. If this is still the case we seriously need to get Zak To on the pitch for his Aberdeen debut to take over that record

  20. Cheatin' Beaton is TBITB for Sunday's game. Easiest bet of the day is that twenty two players won't be on the park at the end

  21. I went into this season with hope that Jimmy would find his way and we would give a good showing of ourselves. So much hope. Next season I will revert back to the default pessimism when it comes to the dons. That way I reckon we'll get minimum 3rd and 1 cup. 4-1 is against Dundee. Why not eh!

  22. Kevin Nisbet has scored in every game he's ever played at Dens Park. This includes when he played for Dunfermline. He never played there for Hibs (though did score v Dundee at Easter Road). Whether he scores or not is the real story in Scottish football this week.

  25. I felt if Hearts could take at least four points from Hibs & Rangers they would win it. They got six, and were behind in both games. They can afford to lose a game now and still win it. I've heard Celtic fans say if it's alive on the final day then Celtic will do what they need to do and score as many as they need, but I don't think they will. This isn't the Celtic side of old. It's one that has filled itself with project players and relied on previous title winners who have regressed from what they once were. I don't think Celtic will win their three remaining games. Honestly, I could see Hearts beating Motherwell and Celtic dropping points to Rangers, meaning Hearts can win it at home in midweek. Is it good for Aberdeen? Unlikely. It makes Hearts significantly stronger, especially if they reach the group stages of the Champions League. Maybe not enough to win it again if Celtic finally spend their vast reserves, but enough to make it more difficult for us to close the gap on them. However, I'm beginning to accept it. It stings, especially because it's Derek McInnes, but I have a few Hearts pals I'll be happy for. What's more important than anything though is that we sort ourselves the fuck out, because we need to at the very least be competitive again at the top end.

  26. JBA won't be Motherwell manager next season. Hibs won't improve until they get rid of David Gray. Hearts won't handle European football and league. Rangers will likely change manager again as there's already murmurs of discontent around Rohl. Open goal for us to win everything next season tbh.
