  1. The League Cup group stage draw is 27 May and will be televised, so get that in the diaries. As for today. Molloy is shite, I don't know why people are so keen to give him a chance. One of the goals, he gives it away, gets back into position, then is outjumped because he can't jump, something that has been evident for some time, and no amount of time will fix that. Milne surely is one of the guys Robinson alludes to when he criticises the lack of fight and desire? Devlin has that, but isn't the same player he once was. Our defence is hopeless. The midfield three at times today actually played some decent stuff. Keskinen I thought looked okay more central - he'll battle in there and his through balls are better than his crossing. Robinson - I don't get the criticism of him this early. He's got more out of this group of charlatans than anyone else has, and more than I thought possible. He's saved us from the ignominy of a play-off. Will judge him next season.

  2. We should move heaven and earth to get back into the EU. We will go back with a significantly poorer deal than we had but that’s the price paid for stupidity. The only realistic way we get out of this Reform spiral and the misery of where the UK is headed is by driving economic growth and bringing some much needed wealth back into both the public purse and into the pockets of those at the poorer end of society. The EU is our biggest market opportunity, we’ve lost tens of billions by leaving it. On top of that, the rise of Trump has changed the landscape immeasurably in Europe and the need to form stronger ties with them has never been greater in recent times.

  3. He can be quite hit and miss. When he's good he's brilliant, when he's not he goes on and on and on. Read 11.22.63 recently and thought it was great. Everyone raves about The Stand. I thought it was overlong and dull as shit.

  4. Shouldn't that be "if you ever believed in Brexit you're a dildo"?

  5. For what it's worth I also thought Nisbet deserved it. He is decent and does appear to actually give a fuk (either that or he is fkn good actor) Anyway we move on and start the overhaul and the prep-work for next season, I would not loose any sleep if Knoester is nae here next season, Gyamfi can go as well. I think we should be keeping Devlin (squad player) and a decent player to pulling off the bench with 15 / 20 minutes to go also keep Shinnie for the same purpose. Out of starting lineup yesterday I would only be looking to keep 4 out of that 11 Molloy, Milne, Keskinen and Nisbet and really out of that four only Nisbet would be a guaranteed starter. The other three could be decent squad fillers. The other 7 starters from yesterday plus the three subs Bilalovic, Milanovic and AfeesHeed can all be shown the door as far as I am concerened. Holy fkn shit the size of the job facing Robinson and his staff is fkn colossal

  6. Absolutely - if we're going with a four then Knoester could only ever be the ball-playing reader of the game beside a properly aggressive partner. Pairing him with a right-footed version of himself wouldn't solve any of our problems. On that note, given that we've seen so little of him, I wonder what Tobers' profile is.

  7. He got it for being the least shite player. I'd probably have gone with Nisbet. He's a good footballer, but he's quite weak on crosses. I think that a stronger defender clears out both player and ball for their first yesterday too, although maybe a touch harsh! If we're sticking with Knoester next season, then I'd like to see us move Milne on. I don't think Knoester does anything for Milne really, and I think he has the potential to be a good player, so probably best to move on, to a team that wants to develop him. I also think that Knoester would be very good alongside a strong right sided centre half too, I just think it's one or the other. Especially if we're going for a back four.

  8. Maybe a bit harsh on Knoester here but really why the fk did he win our POTY award. I know there were really not very many contenders as such and the award should have been scrapped. But it wasn't scrapped and it went to him which really was a weird one in my humble opinion, but hey ho what the fk do I know. I would not be against keeping both Milne and Molloy (Gyamfi can go) but for sure Milne and Molloy would need a solid leader to play alongside at the heart of our defence and at the moment that is a glaring gap right there that needs to be filled, Along with a shitload of other glaring gaps. Good luck Robinson you are going to fukin need it min. But then again I guess you had a fair idea of the magnitude of the task in hand when you accepted the job, so fair play for appearing to have the balls to give it a go and take it on. Now get after it and fix it min. Jist fkn do it

  9. Both are young lads and will improve. If Milne had someone alongside him barking at him and telling him to go through the ball, he'd soon learn how to use his size and strength properly. Knoester doesn't do that part sadly. A preseason to work on his overall fitness and strength will do him good, and a leader at the back in the door and he'll be an asset. Molloy is okay as a squad player, backup for left centre half and left back. He's very good at one on one's and positionally pretty decent. He definitely plays within himself as you say, and probably does himself a disservice by not being braver on the ball. Jack MacKenzie was similar until his last couple of seasons. Both are that sort of in-between type, where they aren't fast enough and brave enough to be the overlapping fullback and not big enough to be the centre back that they could be by shying away from the work required. Molloy would benefit massively from being told that he's never going to be a centre back because of his physical attributes and to work his arse off to make the left back spot his own. That will involve him really upping his fitness so he can do the yards up and down the pitch, and working on his bravery on the ball (because he's not a terrible footballer), taking on men and crossing. I don't think he's a worse footballer than MacKenzie was at 23. He's just got to do the work. If we're keeping Gyamfi then I'd let Molloy go though, it has to be one or the other. I'd probably prefer Molloy, but Gyamfi would allow us to see more of Frame because he's always injured!

  10. Molloy for me is also afraid to take responsibility and play a forward pass- too often turns and plays square pass or. Back to the goalie accept that sometimes there is little movement but seems afraid to take responsibility Milne just looks afraid - and I really wanted the loon to do well, but doesn’t have the heart

  11. Thank the lord!! Glad to see someone else seeing what I’ve been seeing for ages. Not big enough, not physical enough, not good enough for this league. The amount of folk I’ve also seen online today saying he should stay is as baffling as it is worrying. We seem to have a lot of fans that don’t know what a defender looks like. Totally agree on the comments on the defence, Milne & Robinson too…

  13. There was a mob of ticketless fans already outside. They left before that crowd grew larger - from fans without tickets descending on Parkhead, and/or from fans leaving the stadium. Whether they were attacked or not is inconsequential. Thousands of fans piling onto the pitch and running right up to you to goad you - scream and swear at you - you're going to feel unsafe. It's fair to presume you are at risk of being attacked. And, I've heard accounts from Hearts fans I know - not exactly shrinking violets - who have said it was a nightmare when outside the stadium and as unsafe as they've felt leaving a game. What is bizarre about the whole thing is - why the hell are Celtic fans so angry anyway? When Aberdeen won the cup, I was full of joy, wanting buy the whole world a beer. It never once crossed my mind to run on the pitch, scream abuse at Celtic players, go fight anyone with a Celtic top on, or go surround the Celtic bus leaving the stadium. It's like Celtic have won so much that they've gone beyond being happy, and for them it's more about hating anyone who dares deny them their right to win everything. *Not all Celtic fans of course. I say that because there were many of them who were gracious when Aberdeen won the cup.

  14. Didn't watch it,only know the score. Not surprised we got beat. Thankfully, I can put football to one side until July/August. What a shit season it has been.

  15. Perhaps with no pressure on in any way he might be able to play the game they call football...
