Confirmed on a two-year deal. This bit makes me a little bit excited. The 24-year-old arrives after an impressive spell in his native Austria, where he established himself as an energetic and influential defensive midfielder.

I'm quite happy with the signings. The past few seasons, apart from the odd exception (Mitov), our sighing policy tends to be players who once had potential but haven't kicked a ball for three years due to injury/not being good enough, and we hang our hats on them suddenly rediscovering everything at Aberdeen. Sometimes they spoil us a with a young player who their youth coach confidently predicts will be the next big thing (Keskinen, Milanovic). So I quite like signing guys that are fit and have proved they can play in the Premiership rather than more Palaversas and Lazetics.

They are now expected to fly into the U.S. for games and straight out after them. Just another example of what a shit show this is going to be.

I don’t see it as just the yanks. It’s modern football. Tickets, travel, trains, food at games etc, everything is jacked up. Not a fans game any more.
