  1. Milanovic tipped for a move back to who we signed him from. Source is Scott Burns. Probably a good move for the lad.

  2. Has to be Miller. He's the only one who replaces Gilmour's ability to move the ball quickly and will try the passes the others won't. Fletcher looked decent, but doesn't offer anything we don't already have in abundance (based only on yesterday). Similarly Barron and Irving.

  3. Yeah, bit of a blow but if everyone is fit I don’t think he starts. Fletcher looked very assured but I don’t think he’s earned it, and Clarke is a loyalty guy….to an extent. I’d expect Lennon miller to be brought in, none others have been consistent squad players so loyalty is limited, but fletcher is brand new and barely played first team football, I think miller has the stones and was the one who raided a few eyes missing out. Christie, Ferguson, even mctom can all play holding mid if needed.

  4. It's absurd picking Fletcher when he's played more minutes for Scotland than Man U. Miller and a few other guys must be really pissed off.

  5. One of our most disappointing signings in recent memory (and there’s been a few!).

  6. Just had a wee look at Ronans stats there. What's interesting to me, especially given the perception some have about Robinsons style of play being a bit hoofball, is that his time at St Mirren was by a mile his most productive from an attacking sense. Was fond of a worldie from outside the box if memory serves too so I would be quite open to signing Ronan 2bh.

  7. Apparently he could ‘no longer stay silent’ and has written a 5000 word essay on what’s going wrong with the Labour government. His analysis was actually pretty spot on but his ideas are not so. His blend of market economics and social provision seems to have shifted a little further towards a Reagonomics/Thatcher-lite approach and his foreign policy ideas of do whatever US say is frankly mental. He is still sounding like he is seeking validation or justification for his stance on Iraq, all these years later. If you can’t be arsed reading the essay there is a decent interview with The News Agents pod but it’s pretty much a bend over and let the market and the US ride you senseless kinda deal.

  8. Who actually asked for his opinion, why is he even being asked for it? Absolute troglodyte.

  10. I’m not saying anything yet. But I suppose we need to remember we have competitive games starting July 11 so there is an urgency. Ronan would bring balance to the signings to date, strength and now some flair, but the tougher signings will be two wingers and a 9. Plus a keeper? im equally eager to see players leaving.

  12. Makes sense to me. It’s a pain jumping forums and I have less than a passing interest in non-Scottish fitba also, if somone could WhatsApp me when there is any activity in the politics thread that would be handy

  14. It did amuse me that the nicest thing he could say about his own son was that he was "someone I have known for a long time".

  16. Was contemplating that one tonight but settled on a dreadful Seth Rogan movie where he falls into a vat of pickled cucumbers and wakes up 100 years later. No I’m not joking.
