Not sure if our new “ticketing and fan experience platform in association with Jump” deserves a thread if its own so sticking it in here:

https://www.afc.co.uk/2026/02/26/aberdeen-fc-sign-exclusive-deal-launching-with-innovative-fan-experience-platform-jump/

Generally sounds like a load of waffle although this excerpt from Jump’s website isn’t great.

I thought it was when we signed Scott Brown that TRF ceased trading.

That was exactly the reason cited by the editor at the time. To be clear- this was not the Scott Brown who cost us the title after Danny boy was recalled by Klopp to Liverpool…

An article about Ash Taylors retirement from football. Worth a read

https://www.wirralglobe.co.uk/sport/25889383.wirral-born-footballer-ash-taylor-announces-retirement/

"Aberdeen will always mean more"

"Out of every club in my career, that was my favourite time in football. It wasn’t just about the games. It was life."

What gets me is that a lad from the Wirral gets it, but we have mutants on our door step who want to sign for the huns.

Just needed to end with “Stand Free”. Missed an open goal there.

More seriously, thats a cracking endorsement from Big Ash. Never met him, but queued for the pub near Hampden with his dad and his dad’s mates, who just kept saying to anyone who’d listen, “That’s Ash Taylor’s dad” in very scouse accents.

The man in question was portly and about 5’8” so may have been a wind up.

Mark Reynolds announced his retirement from playing on Saturday, at the age of 39, following Banks o Dees cup exit.

I hadn't realised he was still playing.

A fine loon

He was an excellent defender and I remember being so excited (and surprised), we managed to get him at the time.

Season tickets up for sale and prices up too.

Don't get hurt in the rush.

I am of the belief unless we lift the Cup it'll be a struggle to make it into double figures for next season.

RELEGATION:

Hope it isn't breaching any rules but I've been reading comments on AFC Chat. At least three people who are presumably Dons fans are claiming we were only saved from relegation because of the Falkirk ground not being SPFL rules compliant. One of the people claiming this is a "gold" member which I presume means he's a big shot which makes it double mental.

Surely we were only spared having to take part in a play-off which no-one knows if we'd have won or lost?

I can't understand Dons fans who buy into weegie media nonsense so much that they literally take as truth everything that is printed in rags like the DR.

Mindboggling.

Supposedly Macron are our new shirt manufacturer from this summer.

Nae the French President, incase you were wondering.

I'm unaware of the firm.

Any decent clubs have them as a supplier and if so are any of the kits nice and plain?

Another example of our fall from grace.

I'd agree, but they do have some decent kits and I think the issue with Adidas is lack of supply, as we are so low down the food chain.

Should also add that this isn't official yet, but getting a lot of traction on social media.

Roughly how much money do the Dons get from these deals?
