I'm fairly certain Dave is an adult who can choose who he sits next to at the fitba. I wasn't partial to Milne's chairmanship, but he's a Dons fan going to Dons games every week. I doubt he has much input at all otherwise.

We’re still utterly shit at football - just like we have been for most of the last 30 years.

That’s got Milne’s greasy paw prints all over it.

There is no good reason to keep that utter failure hanging about, none.

For the avoidance of doubt, I’m not a fan…

There is absolutely nothing about Cormack's time in charge of the footballing side of things that has Milne's paw prints on it. Other than the appointment of Robinson*. The rest has been data and processes. Even off the field we have been nothing like we were under Milne.

It's possible that two chairman can be equally shite for different reasons.

* I don't mean Milne appointed Robinson, just that he's in the Milne-esque category.

That’s the problem though, nobody really knows. Given everything we know about Cormack, Robinson is the last person on planet earth he would give the job to. He’s right up Milnes street though. Has Cormack realised that footballing philosophies, top 100 clubs, exciting young managers playing it out from the back is all a pile of shite? I certainly hope so but it’s just as likely that Milne has had a word in his ear. The prawcess went right out the window and nobody can rule out Milnes involvement.

He shouldn’t be involved in any decision making whatsoever

I don't disagree, but the point I was responding to suggested that Cormack's tenure had Milne's paw prints on it, which I don't think is true. As far as it is possible for us to tell, via evidence, the two's approach to chairmanship, to date, is significantly different.

I certainly can't see wiggy going two footed into Kenny Macintyre after merely being introduced onto the programme

I didn’t say Cormack’s tenure had Milne’s paw prints all over it. I said the fact we’re still shit at fitba did - and it does.

The only constant in 30 years of mostly shit fitba and serious under achievement has been Milne. I don’t think that’s a coincidence, though Cormack certainly hasn’t improved that either.

I agree the approaches are different, Cormack is light years better at the off the park and commercial stuff than the gype ever was, but on the park, still shite.

I do agree Milne will have far less influence now than he did, but my point is he’s still there, he’s still clearly got some influence (otherwise why have a board at all) and we’re still shit at fitba.

Its highly likely we’d still be shit at fitba if he wasnt there of course - the prawcess has been a shambles in the main - but I’d love to get the chance to find out.

My main point is, was and always will be that Milne adds absolutely nothing of any value to AFC these days and should be nowhere near the club.

I’m pretty sure we agree 100% there…

The fuckers in charge are trolling us.

Seriously, player of the year!!!

Just give it to the fans who have had to put up with the shit on offer all season and still turn out in numbers.

We should all vote for Clarkson, Polvara or Nilsen.

Only one candidate for player of the year

Mats Knoester 👍

The rest can pretty much fuck off at the end of the season.

I'd probably add Shinnie and Nisbet. Not because they've been good, but because they've not been terrible and worked hard.

I also don't see Knoester being picked under Robinson next season. Not really his type of defender.

There are a few suggestions that folk are voting for Milanovic, to show the club up, but all they would then do, if Milanovic, is ignore it and give it to Knoester.

Aye, shite banter fae the overly social media'd, I expect. Milanovic has been dogshite, but doesn't merit the pish being taken.

Give it to Polvara for the nice things he said upon leaving.
