Might have moved back down to live in Portsmouth and get treatment but he is contracted to us until the summer. Portsmouth and McIntyre agreed to terminate his contract in early February meaning we were able to sin him outside the January transfer window as a free agent Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/10757-the-all-new-unworthy-of-its-own-thread-afc-general-stuff-thread/page/9/#findComment-282674
OrlandoDon
No loss, I’d actually compare him to molloy. Different strengths and weaknesses, but neither a starting 11 player. No point in having both. 1 Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/10757-the-all-new-unworthy-of-its-own-thread-afc-general-stuff-thread/page/9/#findComment-282677

OrlandoDon
So why do we do the awards with 5 games left in the season?? Odd given we have a big game in 2 days. Obviously been scheduled for a while but why during the season? I think he has potential as a left sided CB in a back 3 I think i’m being nice, I’d prefer McIntyre but molloy is already under contract. He’s really poor in the air and indecisive, plus not overly technical. He lets the ball drop/bounce instead of attacking headers which kills me. He doesn’t exude confidence and just looks ropey. His errors cost goals, he’s been at fault for a few this season. I’d play him at left back/left wingback as his mistakes there tend not to be as severe, but at the same time I’d play a fit frame or gyamfi before him. TheDonbytheDee
If you renew your season ticket by the first of May, you will automatically get put into a draw, to win a free ST for the next five years. It's usually one year, the draw is for, so possibly must be a few fans holding back on renewing. I'm sure the wifie next to me was talking about it at the time. Maybe someone else can confirm. blinlemon
The most frightening thing about the awards bunfecht report from last night is the concluding summary of previous winners. In 2010, closet hunbastard fae Elgin, Richard Foster was the winner. Holy fuck. GASC1980
So Morris won it last season with only a handful of gfames and some good minutes during those and Knoestrs wins it this season despite missing half a season. Just shows how abject and inept we have been the last couple of seasons. Duncan has the attributes to be a good SPFL player. I always thought he was a central player that was continuously played wide, which didn't suit him. His biggest issue seemed to be a complete lack of confidence, and he'd be jittery as hell on the ball (which he wasn't at Peterhead). I wouldn't be surprised to see him come good in a year or two and make his way back up to the top league. I had forgotten about him and also thought that he went to County on a permanent deal. No chance of him getting a new deal, but I hope he manages to make a career out of the game. Panda
St Johnstone have made some interesting announcements in their season ticket sales for next season. Firstly, they bizarrely appear to have cut Aberdeen's ticket allocation, but increased the Old Firm and Hearts'. Rangers and Celtic will now get three stands at McDairmid Park. Hearts will get both stands behind the goals. Aberdeen will get just one stand behind the goal (which will now be at the opposite end from where the away end normally is) with no allocation in the main stand anymore. They say it's to maximise revenue, but seems odd to potentially lock out Aberdeen fans who usually travel there in numbers, especially if we are doing well. Another thing they've said is, similar to what Hearts do, is they'll be selling their worse seats for cheap and increasing the price of premium seats to compensate. It means 60% of their tickets season tickets will be cheaper. Meanwhile we still seem to think the RDU should be sold at "gold" prices, despite it being partially restricted view with the goal line often invisible from certain seats. Is that built into the agreement with ST holders then? That they will only be moved for games against the three cheeks. Does seem strange that they wouldn’t build in the flex to be able to move people if the Dons (or Hibs) were flying and demand was high and only 20 ST holders would need to be rehoused.
