This comment made me think about the number of different nationalities we have in our playing squad.

On a quick count, I made it sixteen if this lad from Palestine was to join us.

I'm assuming that will be made permanent today? I'm assuming that the Dundee fans would be as vitriolic in their abuse of the wee hun cunt as we would be? Actually, it'd be good if he stayed at Dundee, only to be punted to their reserves for the next 6 months. Training with the kitchen staff.

My brother who is season ticket holder at Dens has suggested him training with the reserves and not kicking a ball from now until end of the season would be his preferred option.

Hmm.Played for lower Eridivisie team Heracles Almelo a few years,won the league with Ferencvaros in Hungary,2022/2023 before the loan to Aarhus. Wont be fit for a few weeks I take it

Been doing a bit of reading on him, and by all accounts the Aarhus (AGF) fans - where he was on loan last season in Denmark - loved him and wanted him to sign permanently. 

Not sure why he didn't. Maybe it was a bit like us and Mattie Pollock; ie he wanted to give it one last chance with his club, or they needed him as a back up. He did play a few early games in Europe and was on the bench a lot, so Ferencvaros were possibly reluctant to sell.

Either way, been described as comfortable on the ball (isn't every new signing described as that though?) and his best position actually being on the left of a back three.

Jumping the gun a bit here, but presuming Dabbagh signing, MacDonald leaving, then this is how our squad looks (minus the youth prospects, and the long term injuries). Be interesting to see where Jensen ends up playing, likewise Keskinen. Both arguably being played on the wrong side, but then hard to see Devlin become a back up (he's not as good going forward as Jensen but early signs is he's a better defender) and to get the best out of Okkels you probably want him on the left.

From the below, obviously Sokler, McGrath, Molloy and Vinnie all out for the next few months. Polvara & Mitov not quite as long so I included them.

We were in for Lyall Cameron and with the above injuries there may still be another midfielder incoming. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't though.

If Thelin can get the front three balance right, and get the defence to actually defend, then on paper third place and world domination isn't impossible.

Jensen is nowhere near as good as MacKenzie. He looks completely out of place at left back. Not convinced he's better going forward than Devlin either, who's had plenty of assists and goals. Rest I'd agree with. Would like to see more than MacDonald out though. Hopefully Duk or Ambrose.

I'd suggest removing Ambrose's name to give us more options in attack
