Montana
After Foran falling through I was told by a friend that Higdon was an option for us. Apparently we had already approached Higdon prior to attempting to sign Foran to create a fallback position. Fits Jimmys desire to have a 'bigger' team, affordable, wages within budget, I reckon he would be a good addition certainly is a handful and gets stuck right in. Only stumbling block is the commute for his family already 3 hours from pool to Falkirk Will wait and see... Not usually one for rumours but hey ho fuck all else going on. mizer
Is he not injury prone? Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-24960
Sweetchuck
If not injury-prone, would be a good signing, IMHO. 9 goals in 14 games is not a bad return, and he always looked decent against us. Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-24961
Dandy_Don
Is he not injury prone? From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Higdon He has also been linked with a move to Aberdeen with Jimmy Calderwood stating in the Press and Journal that "he is good to have around the place". :lolabove: Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-24966
scotfree
Only 18 goals in 91 game! Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-24968
Sweetchuck
19 in 95, surely? Certainly according to Wikipedia, anyway; haven't checked Soccerbase and the like. Anyway, no doubt may of those 95 appearances were as a young loon at Crewe. Remember that he would have been competing with the likes of Dean Ashton and Luke Varney for a starting berth at that time, so no shame in such an apparently poor record. Anyway, a better test of his capabilities would surely be his time spent at Falkirk (during which he scored regularly), no? topcorner
I think Higdon is pish! Would rather have Foran tbh. Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-24974
mg_don
I think Higdon is pish! Would rather have Foran tbh. I agree from what I've seen of Higdon he's not great, Im hoping we'll sign somebody better than him and Foran. Jute
Higdon has never impressed when I have seen him against us. Would not be good move imo. Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-24992
Tyrant
I think Higdon is pish! Would rather have Foran tbh. Not if Foran wants £6k a week! Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-24993
Sonoftherock
Sadly Higdon would probably go straight into our starting line-up. He is better than Mackie and Bebo, therefore would probably be a useful signing. Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-24998
stonefish100
Meh Not a standout for a mediocre Falkirk side. Mon to fuck Jimmy, pull a surprise out of the hat and sign someone who doesnt play in the SPL, Dutch 2nd division or League 2. There must be hunners of players looking for a club this summer. stoney
9 goals playing for an average side - not a bad return better then mackie and bebo - never know how he might play with a player like miller - maybe he just needs better players around him. Cant be any worse then lovell turned otu to be Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-25001
daals heid
Higdon and Miller, slowest strikeforce in the SPL Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1208-michael-higdon/#findComment-25311
