Superstar Tradesman
Our pre-season trips have all been detrimental to our start each season anyway. Not happy about the length of break though. Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1874-x/#findComment-44458
glasgow sheep
“If we don’t get third place or win the Scottish Cup it’s going to be chaos rushing about trying to sort things out. That’s because there is a danger we could have to play the first Euro qualifying games on July 16. “If we make it to the Scottish Cup final it means our last game won’t be until May 30. “It would be impossible to fit in a proper pre-season trip because the players would only be getting about a fortnight off. “It’s a real nightmare because that won’t be enough to allow them to recharge for the new season. “I’m worried it could lead to all sorts of injury problems in the following campaign. “There is no way you can expect players to recover from a year of playing top-class football in just two weeks.†Better get third or win the cup then Unrealistic ASC Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1874-x/#findComment-44459
BobbyBiscuit
I’m worried it could lead to all sorts of injury problems in the following campaign Even more so than usual? Perhaps an early start in the UEFA Cup will help us get out the traps quickly in the SPL, which would make a nice change. TENEMENTFUNSTER
There's definitely something Pete Tong with the pre-season, be it the venue, the matches, the training, something isn't working. Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/1874-x/#findComment-44465
