Aberdeen FC boss praises Red Army

‘Fans have been brilliant’

ABERDEEN FC boss Jimmy Calderwood today thanked the Red Army for aiding their bid to qualify for Europe.

A pocket of fans took part in a half-hearted protest outside Pittodrie calling for the Aberdeen FC manager’s head their 1-0 victory over Inverness Caley Thistle.

Calderwood refused to criticise them but admitted he would prefer to focus on the way the majority of Dons fans have backed his team since they crashed to Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup.

Calderwood said: “It’s not pleasant to know people feel that way about you, everyone would rather be praised.

“But I would rather speak about how well the majority of the fans have backed us over the last few weeks. The Aberdeen FC fans have been brilliant when you consider how badly we let them down against Dunfermline.â€

Aberdeen FC fans have to get behind us

says Aberdeen FC midfielder Gary McDonald

Published: 13/04/2009

McDonald was disappointed a small section of fans protested against Aberdeen FC manager Jimmy Calderwood after the 1-0 win over Inverness Caley Thistle.

The demo was a flop with about a dozen fans turning up.

McDonald, who scored the winner against Caley, said: “You never like to see protests and things like that, so we wanted the win even more than normal for the manager.

“Thankfully, we got that to make sure we finish in the top six again this season.

“Now we aim to get into Europe, and to do that, everyone has to pull together.â€

JC is right.

We are fucking amazing

We deserve better ;) Glad he realises this :D

Does he not realise that we do get behind the team?

The players won't think so, because he is the man the plays them/brought them to the club. They will show loyalty to him. Its perfectly understandable.

Kow, I was at the game, clapped every effort, cheered the players when they done well and even moaned when they made a simple mistake, that in my eyes is support, I'll be supporting them all the way until the final ball is kicked for this season and I'll support them even more next season when we have a new manager and new players in.

If there was 47 there including stoney. Not including stoney there would have been 46 there. If Stoney was 17 people it would be 46 + stoney (who would now count as 17) so there would be 63 people there.

Surely then,

If there was 47 people there including Stoney, there is Stoney and 46 others.

Then surely if Stoney is 17 people, then there are (17 x 46) = 782 others.

So including Stoney there would have been at least 799 people there.

;D

I should probably get back to writing...

Not everyone has as deep an understanding of counting as what you do Dave ;D
