A spokesman commented. "Chris was not involved in any altercation on Tuesday night and was most certainly not knocked unconscious. As we have already stated, some of the players were out on a social evening ahead of their day off on Wednesday and there was a minor incident in a city centre club. Subsequently, there was a more serious incident in the street which resulted in Mark receiving injuries which needed treatment in hospital. No other Aberdeen Football Club employee was in any way injured and it is extremely disappointing that some media outlets have chosen to ignore the facts." The 21-year-old, who lives in Edinburgh, pled not guilty to the three charges and was released on bail. At Edinburgh Sheriff Court, he denied shouting and swearing at staff at the Lava and Ignite club, refusing to leave and threatening to shoot door staff. He also denied threatening police officers. I dont give shit what any of our players are like off the park so long as it does not affect their performance on the pitch or bring the clubs name down. I like Mark Kerr he was a bit of a ned but was the friendliest of the players to us pre-season and when the rest of the guys of the pre-season saw him out for a stag do in Edinburgh he came across to them and bought them drinks. Hopefully he and the rest of the players were innocent but I wouldnt be shocked if they wernt, saying that there are two of them lifted and only Kerr. mark kerr is from airdrie. FAIL! jizzbag!
