I dont really get this Folly love in, I dont think hes shit - just average. McArdle, has been crap but been played out of position. Magennis - I would rather have Tommy Wright. And lets not forget the player who costs us goals week after week - Ifil.

I should have qualified my statement to this seasons signings lol. Folly does a lot of tidying up which goes unnoticed. From what i've seen and read he appears to be very composed and doesn't rush things. Thats good enough for me.

I agree about Ifil. His distribution is just awful continually putting the backiline under repeated pressure by either not picking a red shirt out with a pass or hoofing it into touch. He has cost us games.

Would agree with all of that.

Think the game will hinge on weather folly plays or not.

He has been hailed so far as a silver lining on a fairly cloudy opening to the season. Not lightning quick but doesn't get snowed under in the middle. As manc says, does a lot of work unnoticed and may have lifted some of the deep depression had we had him last season. Maybe just what we need in high pressure games.

As the most negative poster on here that doesnt surprise me.

Folly has been outstanding this season! But then if you were trying to find negatives you wouldnt see that

Of what I've seen of Aberdeen this season (which hasn't been a great deal unfortunately, only been to two games thus far (and they scored four in both games)) there seems to be an improvement on last season. I feel more positive now than I did before the first game. But like I say I've not been to a great deal of games yet so I'm not really best qualified to comment.

1 Rangers      28

2 Celtic          27

3 Motherwell  16

4 ICT            15

5 Hearts        14

6 Dundee Utd  14

7 St Johnstone 11

8 Aberdeen    10

9 Kilmarnock    10

10 Hamilton      9

11 Hibernian    8

12 St Mirren    8

I'm glad top six isn't a measure of achievement, because it doesn't look very likely at the moment.

Is avoiding relegation an achievement?
