Francis Jeffers

Once Brown and Knox sign McNamee and another full back what does everyone think of a move for Francis Jeffers?

Has been outstanding in the A-league for Newcastle (although he hasn't bagged many goals) and is leaving to return to UK in January after a '10 game guest stint'.  Basically were bottom of the league until he arrived and now are mid table. Not after a large wage and would surely be an asset?

£800 a week do him?

Didn't think so.

I reckon we've enough sh*te forwards(Magennis, Velicka) as it is.

He's done nothing after an intitial bright start to his career when young.

Although pure speculation, I'd imagine that Brown will be focusing on getting us clean sheets to start with and building from there.

A bit of creativity from the midfield feeding the forwards wouldn't go amiss either.

If we're looking at wild card free transfers, how about Michael Ball? Been without a club since the summer, might fancy a low-wage gig just to get fitness levels up and back in the shop window.

Instead of Michael Ball, can't we cancel the loan deal with Foster/Velicka and get Foster back to Todders?
