Tyrant
Anyone looked at this? I just did and notice we've nae index. Creating one will take up space. But if we have space and it fixes the problem (not sure that it will, admittedly) then we should think aboot it. glasgowdon
Reekie or Dandy_Don must be able to help with that? I asked the question a while back and got no response. There was an index but as you say, it's gone. Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/3732-searching/#findComment-135313

Reekie_Red
There's an issue with one of the php files : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'TYPE=InnoDB' at line 5 File: /var/www/vhosts/donstalk.co.uk/httpdocs/messageboard/Sources/ManageSearch.php Line: 564 This will need to be fixed before creating a search-index. If I get time (sorry nae had the time recently cos of work and kids) I will do a site upgrade and see if the latest release candidate of SMF has fixed this PHP error Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/3732-searching/#findComment-136990

Reekie_Red
If I can find the FTP login details, I'll send it to you. I might just update the site anyway, as the issue may resolve itself with the upgrade from v2.0RC2 to v2.0.1 Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/3732-searching/#findComment-137112

Can't you contact the host and get the root account details? Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/3732-searching/#findComment-137119
