SeeBass
If Scott McKenna has been valued at a reported £10 million and there's so called interest from Rangers for Lewis Ferguson how much is our No.19 worth regardless of if he goes to Ibrox or not?? Personally I know his father and uncle played for them but hope he'd have a bit more ambition than playing at said Glasgow club. Panda
Under contract until 2024. I've no doubt Rangers are interested but they're not going to be sending £2-3m plus sell-on clauses our way. They'll offer £500k and one of their players currently not playing - Greg Docherty probably. We'll reject it. They'll hope Ferguson is unsettled and tries to force a move. He won't. KennyFuckinPowers
Never hidden the fact that I think this boy is incredibly overrated, and if he did go there, he would weaken them, he's a big step down from Jack, Kamara & an ageing Davis. He has time on his side and could of course improve and become a more complete player, but I simply don't see it at this moment in time. I think the compensation we paid for him was about right at that time, he's probably added another 500k to that. I'd be looking for 1 Million plus a sell on clause for the future, but if it's those hun bastards that are genuinely after him, we should be quadrupling our asking price. Ten Caat
I just don't think we would entertain an offer from sevco under any circumstances. He's under contract till 2024 so we hold all the cards. The board are well aware of the damage it would cause to the relationship with supporters were they to roll over at sevco's behest. Today's newspaper story has the rancid stench of that obese bigot Traynor all over it. A pre transfer window attempt to unsettle the player and of course sevco are due in town in the not too distant future ana. I wish Traynor nothing more than a cerebral haemhorrage that doesn't kill him but leaves the cunt unable to anything for himself, paralysed, unable to communicate and swimming in his own piss and shit Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-219657

I'm with kenny, bummed up by the glasgow press. Solid player but has no star quality. I think that we'd take £1m if offered. That said James Mcarthur has made quite a career out of being a solid midfielder with no exceptional talents. So we might get more down south. OrlandoDon
So what’s the deal with his new contract? Is the sell on still in effect or do we lose that? Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-261654

I believe the sell on is an indefinite thing, but that might just be in my football manager experience. I don’t think a new contract should change anything as they could offer him that at any time. I suppose there is a lot of different ways to structure any agreement so potentially could be time limited but I would imagine we would cover ourselves for a good period if that was the case. BigAl
This is the SECOND contract extension that Ferguson has signed @ Bologna Would imagine if contract extensions invalidated a sell on clause then we'd have heard about it before now Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-261670
Reekie_Red
Rumours that Inter are preparing a £16.5M bid for Ferguson in this window. This is only a month after interest from AC Milan and only a month after signing an extension that contracts him to Bokogna til 2028. May the bidding war commence Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-262271

Would help us for sure… what’s the sell on? 20%? Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-262273
BigAl
No way he is being sold for 20 million euros. Top midfielder in the league last season As soon as any official offer is lodged with Bologna I would expect others to be forthcoming including from EPL teams. Honestly can't bsee him going for anything less than 30m Sell on clause is supposedly 15% Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-262274
OrlandoDon
Bagged a goal today, penalty. Would be nice to pick up some sell on this month! Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-262518
Jute
Being linked with both Rome clubs, both Milan clubs and Juventus in last few weeks. I had fears he'd do a Chris Maguire and choose to let his contract expire before signing a brand new one, thus shafting us. But Lewis seems to be waaaaaay more professional and classy than Bebo ever was Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-262550
BigAl
Potentially bad news for Fergie and for us in terms of a cash windfall as Ferguson is taken off injured inside ten minutes in last night's Champions League tie https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/scottish-premiership/latest-premiership-news/lewis-ferguson-sparks-scotland-fears-as-bologna-star-injured-just-10-minutes-into-champions-league-tie-4966777 Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-262978

Reekie_Red
Would be a tidy €4.5M for us if they met Bologna's valuation Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/8966-lewis-ferguson-valuation/#findComment-263097
