He's actually been struggling for game time and the loan was looking like a bit of a waste of time. Even against Villa he was a sub.

Hopefully this leads to a better run of games. Although I dunno how he fits into the Aberdeen team, I think his time here has maybe gone.

Campbell in today's Daily Record saying he hopes his form at Stevenage might still earn him a new contract at Aberdeen.

According to soccerbase, since his Aston Villa goal he's made just three very late substitute appearances. St the very least he needs to be starting games down there to be getting a new deal here.

But, you know, if it's Robson who gets the job permanently he might be thinking he knows how to get the best out of Campbell.

11 league appearances and only 3 of them starts. That said I think League 2 in England was wrong place for him to go as not many of teams play through midfield there.
