Its easy to overlook defenders, but he has really came on to a game in the last few seasons. The good thing is, as he has never been particularly blessed with pace he doesn't have anything to lose as he gets a bit older. He can hopefully keep it up well into his mid 30's and who knows how many appearances he can rack up. I disagree with the Ferguson goal being goal of the season. I voted for Vyners and thought that stood out well above the rest. Perhaps a lot of people didn't want to vote for a player who had only been with us for 6 months though. He hasn’t necessarily got the best skills in the team but hes worn his heart on his sleeve and led by example. I agree re vyner , that was my pick for the goal of the season.
